  • Patent number: 7980912
Abstract: A toy construction set includes jaw pieces having jaws that interconnect with the body portions of other jaw pieces as well as interconnecting with other jaws. Ratchet wheel components are embodied in some jaw pieces and connector pieces, and are engageable by the jaws. The connector pieces include pins that interconnect with sockets in the body portions of the jaw pieces. A swivel piece has pivoting arms that each include a socket to interconnect with the connector pieces. A wheel assembly has an axle piece with sockets that also connect to the pins. Also, struts that comprise a series of space apart ratchet wheels, or regular tubular octagonal polyhedrons, have sockets in their ends to engage connector pieces.

  • Patent number: 5042808
Abstract: A toy comprises a body member and a handle member, the body member having an outer member pivotally movable in use about a horizontal axis, and an inner member rotatably supported relative to the outer member, the inner member incorporating a playing surface along which a ball travels, wherein the handle member is connected to the inner member, and wherein the handle member and connected inner member is in engagement with the outer member, such that lifting and lowering movement of the handle will pivot the outer member about its horizontal axis, and rotational movement of the handle will rotate the inner member relative to the outer member, in order to control inclination of the playing surface.

  • Patent number: 4541635
Abstract: A board game structure of the type consisting of a plurality of playing pieces and a game board on which the playing pieces are moved having a given axis with a plurality of elongated rectilinear sliders mounted thereon for movement in side-to-side relationship to each other at a given common angle to the axis of the board. The board game has an improved detent structure for restraining each of the sliders in predetermined positions in their movement. Such improvement is based on the use of detent cam surfaces and detent cam followers held in engagement solely by the force of gravity acting on the sliders. An improvement in the structure for retaining the sliders on the game board against the force of gravity is disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4239230
Abstract: A board game is disclosed which includes a plurality of each of three different kinds of playing pieces and a board having playing fields thereon adapted to receive each kind of playing piece. Two of the kinds of playing pieces are adapted to be played simultaneously on any playing field and to be moved independently of each other to other playing fields. The third kind of playing piece is adapted to block the playing of at least one of the other two kinds of playing pieces and to be blocked by such kind of playing pieces depending upon which is played first on a given playing field. Two of the three kinds of playing pieces preferably have the same exterior shape and dimensions. Additional kinds of playing pieces having various blocking and non-blocking relationships to the other kinds of playing pieces on the playing fields of an appropriate board are described.
