Abstract: The mudflap system with universal adapter is centered on a bracket. The bracket includes optional inserts that can be added or removed to change the size of the bracket recess. By changing the size of the bracket recess, a single bracket may be used on multiple sizes of ball mount—the ball mount being portion of the vehicle's hitch system that generally protrudes from the receiver, accepting trailer coupler to connect to the trailer. The bracket includes tab recesses interface with tabs present on the inserts. The tabs and associated recesses act to align the inserts with the bracket and prevent over-insertion, thereby preventing the inserts from falling out during assembly. After placement of an insert within the bracket, threaded fasteners are used to clamp the bracket to the ball mount and to hold the inserts in position.

Abstract: A fault diagnostic method for a heat exchanger in which ambient air temperature and heat exchanger temperature are measured. Also disclosed is the use of a single temperature sensor, in combination with a microprocessor, to measure temperature emitted from a heat exchanger and ambient air temperature surrounding the heat exchanger.

Abstract: Systems for mixing thermoset compositions are disclosed. Methods for making thermoset compositions using such systems are also disclosed. The systems include a static mixer in combination with a rotary mixer for mixing base and curing agent components of the thermoset compositions.

Abstract: Resveratrol can be used to treat or inhibit the onset of many diseases that are related to the aging process, but large doses are required. The present invention provides concentrated liquid formulations of resveratrol, typically having a resveratrol concentration of at least 10% by weight. These formulations improve patient compliance because the patient need not consume such a large volume of a resveratrol formulation.

Abstract: Sirtuin modulators, particularly sirtuin activators, are useful in treating vision impairment. In general, the sirtuin modulators inhibit the progression of vision impairment resulting from various eye disorders. The invention also includes pharmaceutically acceptable formulations of sirtuin modulators, particular ophthalmically acceptable formulations.

Abstract: For use on a wheelchair, a wheel assembly has a change speed gear mounted in the wheel hub. A handwheel is connected to the input of the speed gear and the output of the speed gear is connected to the hub. A free wheel device can be provided between the handwheel and the speed gear. To prevent unwanted backward movement, a clutch assembly can be provided. The clutch assembly engages with a member attached to the hub and permits forward movement only. The clutch can be disengageable. The footrests of the wheelchair can be pivoted up and down by a hand lever mounted on the wheelchair and connected, as by a cable, to a lever on the footrest. A hand lever is provided on each side of the wheelchair.
