Publication number: 20100263270Abstract: An environmentally-safe, disposable, and combustible charcoal-based heat source includes a first chimney structure and a second wall structure surrounding the chimney structure. An inner chimney flue receives air for igniting and burning the charcoal-based heat source and an outer chimney flue exhausts combustion fumes from the charcoal-based heat source. A bottom wall member secures to the inner chimney flue and the outer chimney flue and forms of a combustible material to be consumed during the ignition and burning of the charcoal-based fuel. A top wall member secures to the inner chimney flue and the outer chimney flue to be consumed during the ignition of the charcoal-based fuel. A plurality of exhaust apertures are arranged within the top wall for exhausting the combustion fumes from the outer chimney flue. An ignition ring establishes a sustained ignition of sufficient duration to ignite uniformly the charcoal-based fuel. A plurality of flaps provide an initial ignition of the ignition ring.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 15, 2010Publication date: October 21, 2010Inventors: Felipe Correa, Tom McDowall, Philip Leveridge

Patent number: 7356872Abstract: A vacuum device has a housing. The housing forms an inlet opening and an outlet opening. The housing also forms a viewable compartment for retaining refuse vacuumed by the device. A vacuum motor is located in the housing. The vacuum motor has a suction inlet and a vent outlet. The suction inlet is connected to the viewable compartment. The suction inlet is also connected to the inlet opening of the housing. The vent outlet of the vacuum motor is to the outlet opening of the housing. An electric circuit of the device is connected to the vacuum motor. The electric circuit is connected to a sensor and includes a microcontroller. The sensor, for example, an infrared beam and detector, triggers the electric circuit, and programmed control by the microcontroller, when the beam is broken and not detected by the detector. When the beam is broken, the sensor signals the microcontroller and the microcontroller logically powers-on the vacuum motor to suction the refuse into the housing.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 2003Date of Patent: April 15, 2008Assignee: CrowleyJones, L.P.Inventors: Terry G. Patent number: 7350258Abstract: A system for cleaning includes a handle and a head having a cleaning surface. The head is connected to the handle and is extendable to selectively widen or narrow the cleaning surface. A gear is fixedly connected to the handle and rotatingly connected to the head, so that twist of the handle rotates the gear. A first series of extension gears operably connect to the gear, and a second series of extension gears also operably connect to the gear. Rotation of the gear via the handle, rotates the first series and the second series. A first head extension is operably connected to the first series, such that rotation of the first series swings the first head extension into laterally aligned extension of the head. A second head extension is operably connected to the second series, such that rotation of the second series swings the second head extension also into laterally aligned extension of the head.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 2006Date of Patent: April 1, 2008Assignee: CrowleyJones, LPInventors: Terry G. Publication number: 20060267467Abstract: A method and system for assisting in the storage and retrieval of objects includes a pulling handle and a base that support the movement of an upper-to-lower arm across a roller mechanism. This causes the upper-to-lower arm to rise. A lower-to-upper arm pivotally hinges to upper-to-lower arm and lower-to-upper arm slides in a groove of the base to exert a general upward motion of pans occurs.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 26, 2005Publication date: November 30, 2006Inventors: Randy Harbison, Philip Leveridge, Christian Gerard

Publication number: 20050084580Abstract: A system for baking includes a generally concave pan having an upper opening and a generally concave lid engageable with the pan to cover the upper opening. The pan and the lid each have a substantially uniform and thin thickness. If the pan and lid are aluminum, the thickness is on the order of about 1.4 mm to about 2 mm. If the pan and lid are stainless steel, the thickness is about 0.4 mm to about 0.7 mm. When the lid is engaged with the pan, an enclosure is formed that provides fast heat transfer through the enclosure walls and also provides ready internal heat circulation achieving convective heating inside the enclosure. The pan can have a fixed handle, and the top can have a fixed implement groove or attachment. The top engages the pan via locating at least one detent inside the pan outer edge with at least one notch in a rim of the top. The system is re-useable for cooking multiple times. The pan of the system can serve as a serving dish.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 21, 2003Publication date: April 21, 2005Inventors: Terry Jones, Christian Gerard, Philip Leveridge, Louis Lambert, Liz Lambert, Timothy Crowley
