  • Publication number: 20220086546
Abstract: The technology disclosed herein enables retention of an audio component on a mounting surface using a clip and a flange. In a particular embodiment, an apparatus includes a mounting surface including a flange. The flange is substantially cylindrical and includes a first portion for positioning a frame of an audio component therein under a retaining rim of the flange. The rim includes a second portion of the flange with a smaller inner diameter than the first portion of the flange. When the frame is positioned in the first portion of the flange, a clip positioned in the first portion of the flange between the frame and the retaining rim of the flange retains the audio component within the flange. Manipulating the shape of the clip allows the clip to fit through the retaining rim and into the first portion of the flange.

  • Patent number: 9850276
Abstract: Both JNK and LRRK2 are associated with Parkinson's disease (PD), myocardial infarction (MI), and other medical disorders. Here we report a reasonably selective and potent kinase inhibitors (e.g., compounds 6 and 10) that bound to both JNK and LRRK2 (a dual inhibitor). A bidentate-binding strategy that simultaneously utilized the ATP hinge binding and a unique protein surface site outside of the ATP pocket was applied to the design and identification of this kind of inhibitor. Compound 6 was a potent JNK3 and modest LRRK2 dual inhibitor with an enzyme IC50 value of 12 nM and 99 nM (LRRK2-G2019S), respectively. 6 also exhibited good cell potency, inhibited LRRK2:G2019S induced mitochondrial dysfunction in SHSY5Y cells, and was demonstrated to be reasonably selective against a panel of 116 kinases from representative kinase families.

  • Publication number: 20100287584
Abstract: Embodiments related to the parental control of media item playback are disclosed. In one embodiment, a computing device is configured to receive an input of unified parental control information that comprises a selection of an age to which to compare a rating of a media item. The computing device is further configured to receive a first media item and a second media item that are rated under different first and second rating systems, and to receive ratings information associated with each media item. The computing device is further configured to compare the ratings information for each media item to the unified parental control information, and to restrict playback of the first and/or second media item if the unified parental control information meets a threshold condition compared to the ratings information associated with the first and/or second media item.

  • Publication number: 20040118077
Abstract: A tube frame fixing structure comprises two cambered plates and tube frames. Each cambered plates has positioning holes without threads or a plurality of round grooves having threads on an inner wall thereof. Each tube frame has a plurality of through holes; the through holes of the tube frames, positioning holes and round grooves of the first and second cambered plate being aligned. A plurality of studs having threads are used to lock the two cambered plates and two tube frames. At first, each stud enters into one through hole of the tube frame. Then the stud enters into the round groove of one selected cambered plate of the two cambered plates to reach the positioning hole of the other cambered plate to resist against one wall of the tube frame. The stud moves forwards continuously so that the selected cambered plate will resist against the wall of the tube frame due to the interaction of the threads of the stud and round groove of the selected cambered plate.

  • Patent number: 6471434
Abstract: A joint structure, which allows a user to individually assemble and strengthens the stability of steel pipes. The joint structure mainly comprises of a fixture element, which can be slipped into a vertical steel pipe, a joint block, which connects two transversal steel pipes on the inner sides, and a fixture screw, which fastens a joint block and the vertical steel pipe to unite both of the transversal steel pipes and the vertical steel pipe. On the bottom of the vertical steel pipe and the fixture element, there are overlapped fixture screw holes. Both of the inner ends of the transversal steel pipes having clip holes. On the bottom of the extension panels located on the lateral sides of the joint block, there are inert blocks, which fit exactly with the clip holes. In the middle of the joint block, there is a piercing hole.

  • Patent number: 6379074
Abstract: A coupler structure for steel pipe conjoinment that provides for user DIY assembly having a coupling block overlapping inner sides of two horizontal sections of steel piping, a bolt inserted through the coupling block to fasten together the two horizontal sections of steel piping, a locating hole formed in the ends of each inner side of the two horizontal sections of steel piping, and a threaded hold tapped at a suitable position in the front corner of a straight section of steel pipe. A junction contact element extends from each of the two ends of the coupling block with insertion tabs fitted into the locating hole in each of the two horizontal sections of the steel piping. A semi-circular opening is formed at the mutually facing ends of the two horizontal sections of the steel piping such that after the semi-circular openings are brought together, their position is in a state of alignment with the threaded hole of the straight section of steel pipe.
