  • Patent number: 11932737
Abstract: A polymer composition capable of being additively manufactured includes a polymer matrix and a magnetically receptive additive. The polymer composition may be additively manufactured or extruded to form a tool which may be used to form a composite part.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 13, 2021
Date of Patent: March 19, 2024
    Assignee: AIRTECH INTERNATIONAL, INC.
Inventors: Aubrey Gerald Jackson, Zachary Ian Skelton, Philip Lunn, Guy Rene Schindler
  • Patent number: 11655346
Abstract: A polymer composition capable of being additively manufactured includes a polymer matrix and an NTE additive. The NTE additive enables tailoring of the CTE of the polymer composition and the additively manufactured structure made using the composition.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 3, 2020
Date of Patent: May 23, 2023
    Assignee: AIRTECH INTERNATIONAL, INC.
Inventors: Aubrey Gerald Jackson, Zachary Ian Skelton, Philip Lunn, Guy Rene Schindler
  • Publication number: 20220266479
Abstract: An embossed release film for use in a vacuum bagging system during a process of curing a composite part includes a raised pattern defining an upper air pathway and a lower air pathway. The raised pattern defining the upper air pathway and the lower air pathway negates the need for a breather fabric that is included in conventional vacuum bagging systems. Providing a vacuum bagging system without a breather fabric simplifies the vacuum bagging system, satisfies lean manufacturing principles, and reduces cycle time, manufacturing cost, and waste.
    Type: Application

    Publication date: August 25, 2022
Inventors: Jeffrey L. Dahlgren, Philip A. Lunn, Zachary I. Skelton
  • Publication number: 20220152944
Abstract: An embossed vacuum bag film for use in a vacuum bagging system during a process of curing a composite part. The embossed vacuum bag film includes a raised pattern defining a lower air pathway. The embossed vacuum bag film may be a single layer or a multi-layer film including an upper layer having low permeability and a lower layer coupled to the upper layer that is configured to self-release from the composite part.

  • Publication number: 20090046099
Abstract: An apparatus and method for displaying photographic images in real-time is disclosed. Traditionally, ray tracing algorithms produce photographic images, but not in real-time. In one embodiment of the present inventions, shadows and lighting can be altered in real-time, and photographic images appear as an interactive photographic image.
