    Abstract: The invention disclosed provides a new improved slurry detergent and to a method of using same. The slurry detergent may be formulated with alkali metal hydroxides and/or silicates, condensed phosphates, sodium hypochlorite and sodium polyacrylate, or the like. The new improved slurry is found to have significant advantages over both liquid detergents and powder detergents in dispensing as well as in use.
