  • Patent number: 11838727
Abstract: An apparatus (e.g., an ear-worn device such as a hearing aid) includes neural network circuitry and control circuitry. The neural network circuitry is configured to implement a neural network system comprising at least a first neural network and a second neural network operating in parallel. The control circuitry is configured to control the neural network system to receive a first input signal, process the first input signal using the first neural network to produce a first output and using the second neural network to produce a second output, combine the first output and the second output, reset one or more states of the first neural network, and reset one or more states of the second neural network at a different time than when the one or more states of the first neural network are reset.

  • Patent number: 11629871
Abstract: A UFAD system with bifurcated air towers. The air towers are bifurcated in the sense that the air columns are fan-less and coil-less, and fans for delivering pressurized air to the air columns, and hence to the underfloor plenum of the UFAD system, are in overhead ceiling air ducts and spaced away from the air columns. Cooling coils could be located in a remote air handling unit that feeds conditioned air to the overhead ceiling air ducts to be pressurized by the fans.

  • Publication number: 20230021087
Abstract: A method is for detecting the position of at least one mobile, interchangeable load carrier that is movable by a commercial vehicle, in a delimited detection area, in particular a depot, in which the at least one mobile, interchangeable load carrier is moved by vehicles. Accommodation operations and/or offloading events of the mobile, interchangeable load carrier in the detection area are determined by the vehicle as notification events, position data for identifying the position in the detection area are determined for the notification events, and position notification signals are formed by the commercial vehicle from the determined notification events and from the position data, and are transmitted to a communication center of the detection area via a wireless network. In the communication center, the current position data of the load carrier are determined from the received position notification signals and are stored in a memory and continuously updated.

  • Publication number: 20220360631
Abstract: A method is for setting up a data connection between a terminal device of a telematics system in a vehicle and a central module of a stationary local area network (SLAN). The SLAN covers a depot. The method includes: providing access data for identifying and authenticating the terminal device in the SLAN, the access data being provided via an access network differing from the SLAN; transferring the provided access data to the terminal device in an automated manner using the access network; setting up a connection between the terminal device and the central module of the SLAN in an automated manner when the vehicle having the terminal device is located in range; authenticating the terminal device in an automated manner on the basis of the access data to check authenticity of the terminal device; and, authorizing the terminal device and/or the vehicle automatically if the terminal device is authentic.

  • Publication number: 20220274560
Abstract: A method is for activating a vehicle function, wherein a controller for activating the vehicle function checks an access authorization of the mobile device and activates the vehicle function only if the authorization is acceptable. The method includes: a) the controller sending a request to the mobile device demanding transmission of the authorization for a vehicle function, b) the mobile device receiving the request from the controller and sending the authorization to the controller, c) the controller checking the authorization and activates the vehicle function if the authorization is acceptable, d) the mobile device sending the authorization only if the device was previously actuated for the purpose of authorization and thus was authorized to send the authorization, e) and the controller activating the vehicle function only if a signal of a sensor device actuatable by the user has previously been received by the controller.

  • Publication number: 20220040337
Abstract: Described herein are Tz/TCO-based pretargeting strategies using an Al[18F]-NOTA-labeled tetrazine radioligand. This imaging strategy enables delineation of cancer at earlier time points compared to other imaging strategies and further decreases the radiation dose to healthy tissues compared to directly labeled antibodies. Al-based 18F imaging of small molecules, such as tetrazine, has not been previously achieved due to the decomposition of tetrazine during radiofluorination. Radiofluorination is advantageous over other radiolabeling methods because, in addition to having a shorter half-life, 18F is more readily available to produce and therefore integrated into hospital workflows.

  • Patent number: 10218784
Abstract: A social networking system selects a set of groups for presentation to a user of the social networking system. To select groups, the social networking system determining scores for various groups representing a likelihood of the user interacting with the groups. When determining a score for a group, the social networking system accounts for a likelihood of the user providing content to the group as well as the user accessing or viewing content associated with the group. Based on the scores, one or more groups are selected and presented to the user. Additionally, the social networking system may apply one or more diversity rules so that the selected groups have a variety of characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20160371872
Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can present a first interface that provides a first set of content items. A command to present a second interface that provides a second set of content items can be detected. An animation that transitions from the first interface to the second interface can be performed. The animation can cause a second subset of content items out of the second set to be visually representative of a first subset of content items out of the first set.
