  • Publication number: 20190298237
Abstract: A system and method for controlling a light emitting device for an optical sensor based on signal quality and/or power consumption requirements. Drive current and/or integration time is controlled as a function of detected ambient light or signal quality. As the signal quality decreases the drive current or integration time can be adjusted to provide a more usable signal. If after some criteria for reduction, such as “time on” or high signal quality, then the drive current can be decreased.

  • Publication number: 20190228348
Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating reservations of shared desks, phone booths, and other spaces or areas within a workspace for members of the workspace are described. For example, a space reservation system receives a request to reserve a space for a member and selects a space suitable for the member based on one or more work environment characteristics associated with the space. The system also presents various interfaces for displaying available spaces and facilitating interactions between the member and the space.

  • Publication number: 20180231562
Abstract: A new, stable trimeric TNF? structure is disclosed with distorted symmetry which can bind to the TNFR1 receptor to attenuate signalling therefrom, which can be used in the treatment and/or prevention of diseases associated with the soluble TNF?/TNFR1 interaction. Membrane-bound TNF? is not affected in its ability to signal through TNFR2, and thus the new structure of TNF? may be used in therapies which do not significantly raise the risk of infection or malignancy.

  • Patent number: 9973210
Abstract: A parallel decompression engine has separate hardware paths for sequence processing and repeated byte copying/placement. Literal byte extraction logic obtains literal bytes from a selected sequence. Literal byte write logic writes the obtained literal bytes into an uncompressed data set that is being generated. Offset and length extraction logic obtains the offset and length of repeated bytes from the selected sequence. In a separate hardware path, copying and placement logic uses the offset and length to find and copy the length of repeated bytes at the specified offset in the uncompressed data set, and place the copied repeated bytes back into the uncompressed data set adjacent to the literal bytes.
