    Abstract: A method and system are disclosed for inhibiting spray discharge, such as the water discharge of a sprinkler system and the like under adverse wind conditions. Wind velocity is sensed to detect excess of a preselected threshold level, and time delays prevent premature deactivation and activation of valving controlling spray discharge under conditions of wind gusting and temporary calm air.
