    Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods for detecting whether a subject is at risk of lung cancer based on a blood-based multivariate gene expression classifier. Methods for determining whether to obtain a biopsy in a subject based on a blood-based multivariate gene expression classifier are also disclosed. Further disclosed are methods for treating lung cancer based on a blood-based multivariate gene expression classifier are disclosed. Kits for detecting the expression levels of biomarkers for determining whether a subject is at risk of lung cancer are also disclosed.
