  • Publication number: 20240140355
Abstract: A belt retractor unit with a housing, a rotatably mounted belt reel, a blocking unit for blocking the belt reel, wherein the blocking unit has an electrically controllable actuator unit, a control apparatus for controlling the actuator unit, which has a sensor apparatus for measuring at least one horizontal acceleration value and a switching apparatus for controlling the actuator unit in dependence on at least the at least one horizontal acceleration value, wherein the belt retractor unit has a first emergency state, in which the magnitude of the horizontal acceleration value is above a first limit value and in which the belt reel is blocked, and an unblocking state in which the magnitude of the horizontal acceleration value is below the first limit value.

  • Publication number: 20240140356
Abstract: A belt retractor unit with a housing, a belt reel rotatably mounted in this housing, a blocking unit for blocking the belt reel against the housing, wherein the blocking unit has an actuator unit with an electromagnet and a control apparatus for controlling the electromagnet, which has a power input, a power output connected to the electromagnet and at least one signal input for receiving a control signal and/or a sensor unit for generating a control signal, wherein the control apparatus has at least a first active switching state and a passive switching state, wherein in the first active switching state an electric current flows between the power output and the electromagnet, the current intensity of which is greater than in the passive switching state, wherein the control apparatus has between the power input and the power output at least one DC/DC converter acting as a constant current source, so that the current intensity in the first active switching state has a defined first value independent of the vol

  • Publication number: 20220332280
Abstract: A belt retractor having an electrically actuatable locking device comprising a housing with a base plate and an upright first limb, a locking lever mounted pivotably on the upright first limb with a steel plate which is spring-loaded, and an electromagnet arranged in the housing and having a coil with a through opening, a first iron core which is arranged in the through opening, when a voltage is applied to the coil, exerts a magnetic force on the locking lever via the steel plate and actuates the locking lever for triggering a locking or unlocking movement against the force of the spring. The movement of the locking lever is enforced by a first magnetic circuit formed by the first iron core, the upright first limb and the portions of the base plate and of the locking lever between the first iron core and the upright first limb.

  • Patent number: 9505379
Abstract: The invention relates to a belt retractor with an electromotive winding aid (4) comprising a belt shaft (1) which is pretensioned in the winding-up direction by a spring and is mounted rotatably in a frame (3) of the belt retractor on which a belt strap (2) can be wound up. The electromotive winding aid (4) can be activated as a function of the belt-strap-retraction speed (BRS).

  • Publication number: 20070102652
Abstract: An ion implanter includes an ion source for generating an ion beam moving along a beam line and a vacuum or implantation chamber wherein a workpiece, such as a silicon wafer is positioned to intersect the ion beam for ion implantation of a surface of the workpiece by the ion beam. A liner has an interior facing surface that bounds at least a portion of the evacuated interior region and that comprises grooves spaced across the surface of the liner to capture contaminants generated within the interior region during operation of the ion implanter.
