  • Patent number: 10262325
Abstract: Disclosed are fleet mobile payment methods and systems. In an embodiment, a plurality of vehicle cards are assigned to a plurality of vehicles associated with the company, each of the plurality of vehicle cards being assigned to one vehicle. The states of the vehicle cards are initially set to suspended status. A virtual token is sent from an activation server to a mobile device corresponding to a user of the mobile device. The vehicle card may be activated by receipt of the virtual token, together with vehicle identification, by the activation server. Additional authentication may be required to complete the transaction. In preferred embodiments, the vehicle cards revert to suspended status following each authorized use.

  • Patent number: 5204179
Abstract: A multilayer structure designed to overcome the shortcomings of previously known thermoformed sheet structures. Articles may be formed by a method of the present invention having an attractive outer appearance associated with polyolefin films containing inert inorganic fillers while having the advantageous processing properties of oriented films. The present invention is directed to multilayer structures, methods for forming the multilayer structures as well as shaped articles formed from the multilayer structures. The multilayer structure has at least a first sheet layer comprising a polyolefin and preferably an inert organic filler, and a film layer which advantageously comprises an oriented polyolefin or polyester. The present invention may comprise one or more of each of the above described sheet and film layers.

  • Patent number: 4914885
Abstract: An improved roofing tile with side flanges, one overlying and one underlying, providing an interlock between adjacent tiles. The flanges have two ridges and two grooves each. The inner ridge of the underlying flange is higher than the outer ridge thereof, and the outer groove of the overlying flange is deeper than the inner groove thereof. Optionally a cutout is provided on the overlying flange permitting a tile to be held with a hurricane clip on the underlying flange. Optionally a cavity is provided on the bottom face toward the lower edge to prevent a tile coming in contact with nails driven through tiles in a lower course.

  • Patent number: 4755129
Abstract: An arrangement for the thermoforming of molded plastic articles from a continuous web of a thermoplastic material, and more particularly, a trim in place thermoforming arrangement in which the plastic articles are simultaneously molded and at least substantially or completely separated from the remaining thermoplastic web material. A high degree of alignment and precision is obtained between cooperating cutting blades employed in the trimming of the thermoformed articles, because of a unique self-aligning or floating support structure of at least one of the cutting blades operating in conjunction with the thermoforming apparatus. The self-aligning action provided for between the slidingly contacting cutting blades allows for an automatic compensation for any temperature changes and blade wear encountered during operation, and with only one movable part being required for the trim in place device.
