Abstract: A merchant and a user register with a payment processing system, which establishes a facial template based on a user image. The user signs into a payment application via a user computing device, which receives an identifier from a merchant beacon device to transmit to the payment processing system. The payment processing system transmits facial templates to the merchant point of sale device for the user and for other users who are also signed in to the payment application in range of the merchant beacon device. The merchant POS device determines whether it has a threshold number of facial templates and may request and receive additional facial templates from the payment processing system to meet the threshold. The merchant POS operator selects a facial template corresponding to the user. The merchant POS device transmits transaction details to the payment processing system, which processes a transaction with an issuer system.

Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for an adaptive media library for application ecosystems. A request may be received for a media item from an application. The request may include an application state of the application and user data associated with a user of the application. A media item may be selected from among media items in a media database based on the application state, the user data, media selection criteria, and metadata for one or more media items. The selected media item may be sent to the application. User feedback may be received about the media item from the application. The user feedback may be stored as user feedback data. The media selection criteria may be updated based on the user feedback data and the metadata for the media items. An effect of the media items on the user may be predicted. The media item with the greatest predicted effect among the subset of media items may be selected.

A redirect database with original identifiers and redirected identifiers found to be associated with the original identifiers may be established. A processing device may transmit a first request for a resource located at a location specified by an identifier. The processing device may determine that the resource is no longer located at the location, and may receive a redirected identifier for the resource. The processing device may then transmit a second request for the resource to a location specified by the redirected identifier.
