  • Patent number: 10323662
Abstract: A system, a method, and an apparatus to retain an in-cylinder linear position sensor in a cavity of a housing of a hydraulic cylinder assembly are described. The in-cylinder linear position sensor includes a sensor body that houses circuitry of the in-cylinder linear position sensor, and a sensor cap that extends from an upper surface of the sensor body. The sensor cap has a retention mechanism with a portion that extends radially outward relative to a central vertical axis of the sensor body so as to extend into and engage a wall of an access port of the housing to hold the in-cylinder linear position sensor in the cavity of the housing. The portion of the retention mechanism is configured to move inward from an outer position toward the central vertical axis of the sensor body.

  • Publication number: 20140305813
Abstract: An ergonomic case for a smartphone features contoured finger grips at appropriate locations around the outside surface, in a pattern that provides a comfortable and ergonomic grip for a hand. Specifically, three or four finger indentations are provided in the position of use in voice calling mode. The finger indentations may be located on either side, depending on whether the particular embodiment is intended for right or left-handed users. An additional thumb indentation may optionally be provided on the opposite side. The finger indentations and thumb indentations are used to hold the smartphone, to provide a more comfortable and secure grip for the fingers, and may include ridges or another high-friction surface in the indentations.

  • Patent number: 8012318
Abstract: A system and process for recovering copper from a copper-containing ore, concentrate, or other copper-bearing material to produce high quality cathode copper from a leach solution without the use of copper solvent/solution extraction techniques or apparatus. A process for recovering copper from a copper-containing ore generally includes the steps of providing a feed stream containing comminuted copper-containing ore, concentrate, or other copper-bearing material, leaching the feed stream to yield a copper-containing solution, conditioning the copper-containing solution through one or more physical or chemical conditioning steps, and electrowinning copper directly from the copper-containing solution in multiple electrowinning stages, without subjecting the copper-containing solution to solvent/solution extraction prior to electrowinning.
