Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for a literature card game. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a request to view a book; displaying the book on a display device. The method further includes displaying an activity indicator at a location in the book. The method further includes receiving a selection of the activity indicator. The method further includes displaying an activity on the display device, the activity being associated with the book and the location of the activity indicator within the book. The method further includes receiving a response to the displayed activity from the user; determining that the response to the activity meets specified criteria. The method further includes awarding a playing card that is associated with the book, the playing card configured to be used in a card game played by the user.
