Abstract: An evaluation of industrial vehicle performance is carried out based upon a designated task to be performed using the industrial vehicle, where the task has a corresponding metric associated therewith. Performance of the industrial vehicle during execution of the task is measured based by extracting vehicle operational data that is responsive to the corresponding metric. Also, information identifying an extrinsic factor is obtained, where the extrinsic factor is in effect at least one time during performance of the task, and which is capable of impacting a performance capability of the industrial vehicle in performing the task. Moreover, an adjusted task evaluation is created, which is indicative of industrial vehicle performance that takes into account a generated task performance score that is based upon the measured performance of the industrial vehicle in performing the task, a computed target score for the task, and the extrinsic factor.

  • Publication number: 20190083796
Abstract: An implantable pulse generator (IPG) is disclosed having an improved ability to steer anodic and cathodic currents between the IPG's electrodes. Each electrode node has at least one PDAC/NDAC pair to source/sink or sink/source a stimulation current to an associated electrode node. Each PDAC and NDAC receives a current with a magnitude indicative of a total anodic and cathodic current, and data indicative of a percentage of that total that each PDAC and NDAC will produce in the patient's tissue at any given time, which activates a number of branches in each PDAC or NDAC. Each PDAC and NDAC may also receive one or more resolution control signals specifying an increment by which the stimulation current may be adjusted at each electrode. The current received by each PDAC and NDAC is generated by a master DAC, and is preferably distributed to the PDACs and NDACs by distribution circuitry.

  • Publication number: 20190086209
Abstract: A celestial navigation system includes an optical device for receiving light from a celestial object, a spectrometer for measuring a spectrum of the light in sufficient detail to identify absorption and/or emission features, and a processor for processing the spectrum to match the spectrum, or a processed version thereof, against a set of reference spectra information in a database, a device for measuring the pointing direction of the optical device and a clock. The matching may be on a maximum likelihood basis. The system is thus able, on identification of a single star, and, using commonly available navigational almanacs, to calculate a geographical position. Celestial navigation takes place even when only one celestial object (that is also within the database) is visible, although improved accuracy may be obtained with multiple observations. Advantageously, the database includes stars of the K and/or M type, that have more characteristic spectral content.

  • Publication number: 20190085625
Abstract: An end bracket for a roller blind, the end bracket including a bracket member adapted for mounting to a surface, the bracket member having an interior face and a roller tube mounting portion for supporting an end of a roller tube of the roller blind. The end bracket also including one or more flexibly resilient retaining members mounted to the bracket member, the one or more retaining members bearing against, and applying a biasing force to, the end of the roller tube when the end is supported by the bracket member, thereby hindering relative movement between the end of the roller tube and the bracket member when the end is supported by the bracket member. This helps to prevent an unintentional disengagement of the end of the roller tube from the bracket member.

  • Publication number: 20190088522
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to plasma assisted or plasma enhanced processing chambers. More specifically, embodiments herein relate to electrostatic chucking (ESC) substrate supports configured to provide independent pulses of direct-current (“DC”) voltage through a switching system to electrodes disposed in the ESC substrate support. In some embodiments, the switching system can independently alter the frequency and duty cycle of the pulsed DC voltage that is coupled to each electrode. In some embodiments, during processing of the substrate, the process rate, such as etch rate or deposition rate, can be controlled independently in regions of the substrate because the process rate is a function of the frequency and duty cycle of the pulsed DC voltage. The processing uniformity of the process performed on the substrate is improved.

  • Publication number: 20190088520
Abstract: A method and apparatus for biasing regions of a substrate in a plasma assisted processing chamber are provided. Biasing of the substrate, or regions thereof, increases the potential difference between the substrate and a plasma formed in the processing chamber thereby accelerating ions from the plasma towards the active surfaces of the substrate regions. A plurality of bias electrodes herein are spatially arranged across the substrate support in a pattern that is advantageous for managing uniformity of processing results across the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20190083080
Abstract: A joint balancing insert with sensors and an actuated mechanism is disclosed. The joint balancing insert is used to balance a joint during arthroplasty surgery, as the sensors provide force, position and angular data relating to the movement of the joint, while the actuated mechanism allows for highly accurate and dynamic adjustments of the joint based on the data from the sensors. Various configurations of actuated mechanisms and sensors may be implemented in the insert to provide for manual or real time control of the insert, and customized interfaces are provided for visualized feedback of adjustments. Sensor data may also be collected and compared with expected or preferred data sets to provide adjustment recommendations and achieve better outcomes based on historical data.

  • Publication number: 20190087333
Abstract: Converting a stale cache memory unique request to a read unique snoop response in a multiple (multi-) central processing unit (CPU) processor is disclosed. The multi-CPU processor includes a plurality of CPUs that each have access to either private or shared cache memories in a cache memory system. Multiple CPUs issuing unique requests to write data to a same coherence granule in a cache memory causes one unique request for a requested CPU to be serviced or “win” to allow that CPU to obtain the coherence granule in a unique state, while the other unsuccessful unique requests become stale. To avoid retried unique requests being reordered behind other pending, younger requests which would lead to lack of forward progress due to starvation or livelock, the snooped stale unique requests are converted to read unique snoop responses so that their request order can be maintained in the cache memory system.
