  • Patent number: 8776294
Abstract: A bracket, which is adapted for retaining a mattress, includes two hinge bases for being mounted on a bed frame, two rotating members and a connector. Each of the rotating members has a pivot and a first coupling portion extending from the pivot and being substantially perpendicular to the pivot. The pivots are respectively connected with the hinge bases rotatably. The connector has a transverse portion and two second coupling portions respectively provided at two ends of the transverse portion and coupled with the first coupling portions. As a result, the connector can be easily dismounted from and mounted to the rotating members. When the connector is dismounted from the rotating members, the bed frame is conveniently wrapped and transported.

  • Publication number: 20140109588
Abstract: The present invention relation to a burner for a combustion chamber of a gas turbine with a mixing and injection device. The mixing and injection device includes a limiting wall that defines a gas-flow channel and at least two streamlined bodies, each extending in a first transverse direction into the gas-flow channel. Each streamlined body has two lateral surfaces that are arranged essentially parallel to the main-flow direction, the lateral surfaces being joined to one another at their upstream side to form a leading edge of the body and joined at their downstream side to form a trailing edge of the body. Each streamlined body has a cross-section perpendicular to the first transverse direction that is shaped as a streamlined profile.

  • Publication number: 20120297787
Abstract: A combined flow straightener and mixer is disclosed as well as a burner for a combustion chamber of a gas turbine having such a mixing device. At least two streamlined bodies are arranged in a structure comprising the side walls of the mixer. The leading edge area of each streamlined body has a profile, which is oriented parallel to a main flow direction prevailing at the leading edge position, and with reference to a central plane of the streamlined bodies, the trailing edges are provided with at least two lobes in opposite transverse directions. The periodic deflections forming the lobes from two adjacent streamlined bodies are out of phase.

  • Publication number: 20050109686
Abstract: A centrifuge (10) is provided with a cantilevered shaft (18) upon which the main drive rotor (26) is located. A bobbin (62) is attached to the planetary gear shaft (44), which is driven in planetary motion by the rotation of the rotor (26) and its toothed engagement with the shaft (18) of the cantilevered rotor. A flying lead section (72) extends from the bobbin (62) through an aperture in the cantilevered rotor (26). The arrangement provides a centrifuge structure which can handle higher rotational speeds while maintaining resolution. The flying lead section (72) provides a simple path for the inlet and outlet leads (84,86) which reduces dead volume and increases reliability. The bobbin (62) supports at least one coil (68). Rotor component (44) includes at least one bearing (50, 52).

  • Patent number: 4571971
Abstract: A machine for cutting and threading bicycle spokes (11) comprising a cradle (15) for receiving a spoke, a cutter mechanism (17) positioned to intersect and cut off the spoke at a predetermined point, and a thread rolling apparatus (56) positioned adjacent the cutter. By turning a handle (41) the cutter mechanism is actuated by an eccentric (54) and cam (32) to actuate a lever (24) and move a shear (20) past a stationary shear (19) and sever the spoke. Further turning of the handle causes a feed lever (66) to shift the spoke to a position to be contacted by a movable die (61) to complete the cutting and threading process.
