  • Patent number: 9816462
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a thrust reverser device that is integrated in an aircraft nacelle. Blocking flaps are stored inside a mobile cowl disposed in a downstream section of the nacelle, under deflection cascade assemblies during direct-jet operation of the nacelle. Various devices are provided for executing the passage from direct-jet operation to reverse-jet operation in two stages: the mobile cowl moves in translation towards the downstream end of the nacelle; and each flap is then deployed in the main air flow path.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 8, 2016
Date of Patent: November 14, 2017
    Assignee: AIRCELLE

  • Publication number: 20150068190
Abstract: A thrust reverser device for a turbojet engine nacelle includes a mobile cowl movably mounted to translate between a closed position which the mobile cowl covers grids deflecting some of the air flow of the turbojet engine and an open position in which it opens a passage and uncovers the grids. The mobile cowl is associated with a blocking flap to pivot between a retracted position and a blocking position corresponding to the open position of the mobile cowl. The blocking flap is fitted with at least one lever forming a drive mechanism which includes at least one adjustable-stiffness shock absorber.

  • Patent number: 8393435
Abstract: This trailing edge is of the type with moving chevrons (9a, 9b, 9c). It comprises actuating means able to cause these chevrons (9a, 9b, 9c) to move from a passive position in which they are directed substantially in the direction of the airflow leaving the said engine, into an active position in which at least part of each chevron is inclined with respect to this direction. This trailing edge is notable in that the said active position is derived from the said passive position by pivoting, possibly combined with a translational movement, of at least part of each chevron about an axis (Aa, Ab, Ac) substantially parallel to the said direction.
