  • Publication number: 20240409474
Abstract: A component includes a component body in which at least one cavity is formed, wherein a wall surface of the component body, which wall surface delimits the cavity, is at least partially coated with a coating. The design of the component is based on a porous preform made in one or more parts from an inorganic matrix (M1), the preform having the cavity and a porous pre-coating made from an inorganic matrix (M2), the pre-coating coating at least part of a wall surface of the preform that delimits the cavity The porous preform and the porous pre-coating are infiltrated with an inorganic infiltrate (M3). The infiltrated preform forms the component body, and the infiltrated pre-coating forms the coating. A method for producing the component, wherein the preform and the pre-coating are infiltrated so as to produce the component body comprising the coating is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240158311
Abstract: A shaped composite body of a reaction-bonded, silicon-infiltrated mixed ceramic, the microstructure of which is determined by primary grains of crystalline B4C grains (1) of mean grain size d50>100 ?m and <500 ?m and a fraction of >10%, by weight, and <50%, by weight, and by primary grains of a finer silicon carbide with d50<70 ?m and a fraction of >10%, by weight, and <50%, by weight, and the primary grains are siliconized (3) bonded by secondarily formed silicon carbide with a fraction of >5%, by weight and <25%, by weight, in a silicon carbide matrix having a free metallic silicon (2) content of >1%, by weight, and <20%, by weight.

  • Patent number: 11396946
Abstract: The invention relates to a tribological body (10) comprising a body with a sliding surface (12) and at least one hollow space through which a fluid can flow. The body (10) consists of a first monolithic partial body (14) comprising the sliding surface (12) and of a second monolithic partial body (16) connected to the first one, wherein the hollow space is designed as a conduit (20) which runs at least in sections inside the second partial body and is delimited from the latter at least on the bottom side and the side surface sides.

  • Patent number: 9752672
Abstract: A transmission turbo machine integrates drive units and/or driven units into a machine train via a transmission. The integrated transmission substantially comprises a central large wheel with a shaft and a plurality of pinions with pinion shafts. The large wheel is operatively connected to the pinions, and the ends of the pinion shafts are operatively connected to a drive unit and/or driven unit. The shaft of the large wheel is operatively connected to a drive unit and/or driven unit. The invention is characterized in that the drive unit and/or driven unit is an axial expander which is mounted in a cantilevering manner in one or more stages.

  • Patent number: 9261102
Abstract: Compressor arrangement having an axial compressor and a radial compressor which are arranged axially one behind the other on a common driveshaft which can be coupled to a drive and which each have a compression fluid input and a compression fluid output. The axial compressor is provided with first control elements and the radial compressor is provided with second control elements. The first control elements and second control elements are controllable separately so that the axial compressor and the radial compressor are controllable separately.
