  • Publication number: 20100068324
Abstract: An apparatus for granulating plastic is described, comprising a granulating head having a die plate (2) for allowing the output of strands of plastic and a rotor (5) which is coaxial to the die plate (2) and comprises granulator blades (4) for cutting strands of plastic exiting from the die plate (2), and a housing (1) for the granulating head which is connected to a discharge line (11) and a feed line (10) via a feed chamber (8) for a conveying and cooling medium receiving the granulate, preferably a cooling fluid.

  • Patent number: 7222861
Abstract: System for providing sealing between a rotor and a turbine casing in a hydraulic turbomachine includes a sealing ring arranged in a peripheral region of the rotor. The sealing ring forms at least one hydrostatic bearing with respect to at least one of the rotor and the turbine casing. The at least one hydrostatic bearing includes at least two bearing surfaces which face one another. At least one of the at least two bearing surfaces is arranged on the sealing ring. At least another of the at least two bearing surfaces is arranged on at least one of the rotor and the turbine casing. At least one groove is formed on at least one of the at least two bearing surfaces. At least one pressure-liquid line is coupled to each of the at least one groove and a pressure-liquid supply. This Abstract is not intended to define the invention disclosed in the specification, nor intended to limit the scope of the invention in any way.

  • Patent number: 7022166
Abstract: The invention relates to an electrostatic dust separator for horizontal gas throughflow, with a housing which is substantially rotationally symmetrical in relation to a central housing axis, with a tubular inlet port flaring in a single conical section up to 80 to 95% of the housing diameter, the remaining widening of 5 to 20% of the housing diameter taking the form of a step which is configured substantially perpendicularly and radially symmetrically in relation to the housing axis, with at least two perforated gas-distributing plates arranged in the conical section and substantially perpendicularly in relation to the housing axis.

  • Publication number: 20050087933
Abstract: Arrangement for sealing a gap between first and second parts of a hydraulic machine. The arrangement includes at least one sealing element mounted with respect to the first and second parts. A first hydrostatic bearing is formed between a first surface of the at least one sealing element and the first part. A second hydrostatic bearing is formed between a second surface of the at least one sealing element and the second part. At least one first bearing element is arranged on at least one of the surface of the first part and the first surface. At least one second bearing element is arranged on at least one of the surface of the first part and the first surface. At least one supply line is structured and arranged to supply a hydraulic bearing medium. The hydraulic bearing medium is fed via the at least one supply line to the at least one first bearing element, and thereafter is fed via hydraulic resistance to the at least one second bearing element.
