  • Publication number: 20220108567
Abstract: A method, a device, and a two-wheeler including a device of this type, in which at least one wear parameter that represents the wear of at least one wear part or a component of the two-wheeler is generated, determined, or ascertained. It may be provided that a shared wear parameter for multiple wear parts or in each case separate wear parameters for individual wear parts is/are generated, determined, or formed. Typical components on a two-wheeler, in particular on a bicycle, that may be subject to wear include the brake pads, the brake disks, a sprocket, a chainring, a chain, or a tire. In addition, brake fluid in a hydraulic brake may also be subject to wear, it being possible for the brake fluid to absorb either air, water, or dirt, thus impairing the responsiveness of the pressure transfer.

  • Patent number: 10207770
Abstract: A method for activating a motor of an electric two-wheeler, including the following steps: determining a position of a driver of the electric two-wheeler as a function of a first GPS signal, the first GPS signal having a temporal dependence on a starting position; determining a position of a virtual training partner as a function of a second GPS signal, the second GPS signal having a temporal dependence on the starting position; determining a distance between the position of the driver of the electric two-wheeler and the position of the virtual training partner; determining a slipstream effect as a function of a total front face which is formed by the electric two-wheeler and the driver and of the determined distance; and generating a motor torque as a function of the slipstream effect and/or of the determined distance.

  • Patent number: 9669725
Abstract: A store for electrical energy, and a holding device for at least two stores for electrical energy, in each of which a voltage divider is situated which is contactable in each via an external, additional electrical contact. Since the division ratio of the voltage divider within the holding device is characteristic for a specific holder, a voltage measurement at the tapping point between the stores' resistors is useable to determine which holder of the holding device the store is in. During a charging operation without the holding device no voltage divider is connected to the store, it is possible to identify a particular holder and to determine that the store is not in a holding device for charging. Since the store or its battery management system itself provides for energization of its own voltage divider, recognition may take place regardless of whether a charging device is directly connected to the holding device or store.

  • Patent number: 9026288
Abstract: A method for automatically controlling the gear of a gearshift of an electric bicycle. At least one actual operating parameter of a drive component of the electric bicycle is recorded by recording an operating variable of the drive component. The at least one actual operating parameter is compared to a setpoint default, which reflects an operating point of the electric drive, which is linked to a higher efficiency, a greater reliability or a greater durability of components of the electric drive or of the drive component than in response to an operation according to the at least one actual operating parameter. The at least one actual operating parameter is approximated to the setpoint default by changing the gear. A corresponding device for automatically controlling the gear is also described.

  • Patent number: 8920951
Abstract: In a battery module, having a housing, at least one battery, which is disposed in the housing, at least one inlet opening for introducing a cooling fluid into the housing, and at least one outlet opening for conducting the cooling fluid out of the housing. According to the invention, compressed cooling fluid can be supplied to the at least one inlet opening using a compressor. A reduction of the cooling performance because of heating of the compressed cooling fluid is to be at least partially avoided. Furthermore, the design effort is to be low and the battery module is to be cost-effective to produce. The invention solves a problem in that the cooling fluid can be cooled by a cooling apparatus.
