  • Patent number: 12122030
Abstract: A hand-held power tool, which has a pneumatic impact mechanism with an impact piston that is able to be moved back and forth along a working axis in a guide tube by a pneumatic spring, is characterized in that a cylindrical surface of the impact piston has a plurality of cutouts that are distributed in the circumferential direction, and the cutouts take up at least 30%, at least 50% and/or at least 70% of the circumference of the cylindrical surface of the impact piston.

  • Patent number: 12115635
Abstract: A control method for a percussive hand-held power tool (1) includes the steps: detecting a switching state of an operating button (12), detecting a temperature T using a temperature sensor (22), activating an electropneumatic striking mechanism (5) in response to an actuation of the operating button (12), an exciter (13) of the electropneumatic striking mechanism (5) being moved forward and backward along a working axis (3) at a repetition rate R, whereby a striker (14) coupled to the exciter (13) via a pneumatic chamber (16) is also moved. If the temperature T is greater than a limiting temperature Tc, the repetition rate R is continuously increased from idle up to a setpoint value (21). A duration until reaching the setpoint value (21) is less than 10 cycles. If the temperature T is less than the limiting temperature Tc, a duration until reaching the setpoint value (21) is greater than 200 cycles.

  • Publication number: 20240337473
Abstract: In a method for checking a contour of a workpiece, a tactile switching touch probe with a shaped probe element is clamped in a machine tool and connected to a control facility. The touch probe is guided, preferably multiple times, with a different distance or different deflection of the touch probe, along a nominal contour of the workpiece. It is checked whether the touch probe generates a switching signal or loses a switching signal, indicating to a contour deviation. A machine tool and a simulation tool constructed as a digital twin are also disclosed. This enables a fast, simple and cost-effective check of the dimensional accuracy of workpieces machined or produced in the machine tool.

  • Publication number: 20240145874
Abstract: A battery module includes at least one first battery cell and at least one second battery cell, a support structure, a first bus bar and a second bus bar. The first battery cell and the second battery cell are received in the support structure in the same orientation. The first bus bar and the second bus bar are disposed on said support structure. The first battery cell and the second battery cell each have a first terminal and a second terminal. Furthermore, batteries that can be manufactured from one type of disclosed battery module are also disclosed. The batteries can be manufactured, for example, by serial interconnection using the coupling sections and parallel interconnection using the parallel circuit elements.

  • Patent number: 11027389
Abstract: A handheld power tool includes a tool holder for holding a tool, an electric motor, a shaft connecting the tool holder and the electric motor, and a protective device for stopping the tool holder in an uncontrolled situation. The protective device includes a sensor for detecting the uncontrolled situation, a switchable current source and a normally closing magnetic brake. The switchable current source outputs a first current not equal to zero in response to signals of the sensor if an uncontrolled situation is not detected; the current source does not output a current or outputs a second current different from the first current if an uncontrolled situation is detected. The normally closing magnetic brake engages on the shaft and does not apply a torque to the shaft when energized by the first current. The normally closing magnetic brake applies a torque counteracting the rotational movement of the shaft when not energized or when energized by the second current.

  • Publication number: 20180169847
Abstract: A hand-held power tool, in particular a hammer drill or a combined hammer, includes a safety coupling via which torque transmission between a motor shaft and a transmission shaft of the hand-held power tool can be established and interrupted. The safety coupling includes a coupling part at the input end and a coupling part at the output end and can be actuated by a coupling actuator. Mutually complementary catch profiles, in particular similar to a crown gear set, by which the coupling part at the input end and the coupling part at the output end can be interlocked, are arranged on the coupling part at the input end and on the coupling part at the output end.
