  • Patent number: 12673852
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a mobile crane, in particular an rough terrain crane, comprising a boom mounted so as to be pivotable about a horizontal pivot axis, a hydraulic luffing cylinder by means of which the boom can be luffed up and down about the pivot axis, a hydraulic control block for controlling the luffing cylinder and a first safety valve which is connected between the control block and the luffing cylinder and is configured to seal off a load-bearing cylinder chamber of the luffing cylinder in a blocking position. According to the disclosure, the crane further comprises a second safety valve, which is connected in series between the first safety valve and the control block and is configured to seal off the load-bearing cylinder chamber of the luffing cylinder in a blocking position.

  • Publication number: 20250178666
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a steering system for a mobile work machine, in particular for a mobile crane, which comprises at least one mechanically steerable front axle, at least one passively-steered rear axle, as well as at least one rear axle that is steerable by means of at least one steering cylinder. The front and rear axles are arranged one behind the other along a longitudinal axis of the steering system and comprise wheels, the axes of rotation of which, virtually extended, in the case of cornering, on the side of the curve center, intersect a common steering pole plane positioned perpendicularly on the longitudinal axis. According to the disclosure, at least one passively-steered rear axle is arranged between a front axle and the steering pole plane. The disclosure furthermore relates to a mobile work machine comprising such a steering system.

  • Publication number: 20240327174
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a mobile equipment, in particular a mobile crane, comprising a mobile under-carriage with at least two wheel axles, an upper-carriage rotatably mounted on the under-carriage with an upper-carriage driver's cab in which at least one operating unit for operating a working function of the equipment is arranged, a steering system for steering at least one steerable wheel axle and a brake system with brake devices for braking at least one wheel axle. According to the disclosure, the brake system comprises a brake valve arranged in the under-carriage for setting a brake pressure for the brake devices, which is electrically connected to the at least one operating unit of the upper-carriage driver's cab and can be controlled via the latter for braking the under-carriage.
