    Abstract: A cable management device accommodates bundles of cables in an aircraft. The cable management device includes a star shaped cable management element and a retaining clamp. The star-shaped cable management element includes a plurality of outer-radial recesses disposed in an outer radius of the star-shaped cable management element that are spaced apart from each other. Each outer-radial recess is configured to accommodate a cable inserted therein. The retaining clamp is disposed around an outer circumference of the star-shaped cable management element so as to encompass the star-shaped cable management element and close the outer radial recesses. The retaining clamp includes an attachment portion configured to affix the cable management element to a stationary supporting structure.
