Abstract: A milk supply device for supplying milk from a milk supply container to a milk dispensing device is provided. The milk supply device comprises a milk transport line which can be connected to the milk supply container and with which milk which has been taken from the milk supply container can be delivered to the milk dispensing device. The milk supply device further comprises a three-way junction, which can be operated such that optionally milk can be transported from the milk supply container to the milk dispensing device, whilst the milk transport line is sealed off by it, at the same time, relative to the cleaning agent transport line, in a fluid-impermeable manner, or cleaning agent can be conducted from the cleaning agent transport line in the direction towards the milk dispensing device and/or in the direction towards a discharge of the milk supply device.

Abstract: A filter capsule for secondary filtration of extracted coffee is provided, where the filter capsule comprises a housing and at least one filter element or consists thereof. The housing comprises a bottom, at least one side wall and at least one cover or consists thereof, the at least one filter element being disposed in an interior space of the housing. Coffee extracted on a brewing strainer can be subjected to a secondary filtration so that suspended particles and emulsified oils of a specific size are separated from the coffee by the filter element of the filter capsule and a new type of coffee is produced. The use of the filter capsule for secondary filtration of coffee is therefore proposed.

Abstract: A beverage maker and a method for operating a beverage maker are provided. The beverage maker comprises a sensor of a 1st category which provides only one individual measuring value S1 at a specific time, a sensor of a 2nd category which provides a plurality of measuring values S2 at a specific time, a data memory and a control unit. The control unit is configured to compare the measuring values S2 with target values which are stored in the data memory and, based on this comparison, to trigger or not to trigger at least one event. If the comparison does not lead to an event being triggered, detection of at least one measuring value S1 is effected by the control unit, the measuring value S1 being used to assign the measuring values S2 to at least one event and to store these measuring values S2 as target values for the assigned event in the data memory.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a beverage maker that comprises a heating device for heating water, a cold water inflow, a first hot water outlet, at least one second hot water outlet, a cold water path connecting the cold water inflow to the heating device, a first hot water path connecting the heating device to the first hot water outlet, at least one second hot water path connecting the heating device to the at least one second hot water outlet, a conveying device for conveying water, a first flow meter that is arranged in the cold water path or in the first hot water path, and at least one second flow meter that is arranged in the at least one second hot water path. The present invention additionally relates to a method of determining hot water amounts dispensed by a beverage maker and/or hot water amounts used in same for beverage preparation.
