  • Publication number: 20200283263
Abstract: A method determines information relating to elevator components received in an elevator shaft, the elevator components each being provided with a machine-readable marker on which component-specific information is stored, which information is read out by a marker reading device. In the method, a movable elevator element on which the marker reading device is arranged is moved through the elevator shaft and the component-specific information is read out from the markers. The markers can be, for example, markers that can be read out electromagnetically and in a contactless manner, such as RFID tags. The method also includes a comparison of the read-out component-specific information with nominal specifications, and the compiling of a report indicating instances of conformity and/or differences between the read-out component-specific information and the nominal specifications.

  • Publication number: 20200254628
Abstract: A screwing device includes a screwdriver and a connection element for coupling the screwdriver to a robot arm. The connection element has a first robot-side transmission element, a second tool-side transmission element, a restoring element arranged between the first and second transmission elements, and a distance measuring element. The two transmission elements can be moved towards each other against a restoring force of the restoring element in an actuation direction. The distance measuring element measures a distance that represents the spacing between the transmission elements in the actuation direction and is used to control the actuating force acting on the screwdriver.

  • Publication number: 20190367328
Abstract: A method for fixing a rail bracket for mounting a guide rail on a shaft wall of an elevator shaft of an elevator system includes applying an adhesive layer between a support surface of the rail bracket and a final fixing region of the shaft wall in the fixed state of the rail bracket. The rail bracket is thus adhered to the shaft wall, and the rail bracket can also be additionally fixed to the shaft wall by at least one fixing element such as a nail.

  • Publication number: 20190112159
Abstract: In a method for carrying out an installation process in an elevator shaft of an elevator system, an assembly device is inserted into the elevator shaft. The assembly device includes a support component, a mechatronic installation component retained by the support component and a control apparatus. At least one assembly apparatus (tool, sensor or component) is arranged on the support component. The support component is fixed in a fixing position in the elevator shaft. After the support component has been fixed, an actual position of the at least one assembly apparatus is determined relative to the installation component. Using the determined actual position relative to the support component, the at least one assembly apparatus is received by the installation component and an assembly step is carried out using the received at least one assembly apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20190002239
Abstract: A method for monitoring a safety circuit and a monitoring device for a safety circuit of an elevator system are based on a monitoring device for a supply voltage of a series connection of switches for monitoring the safety of devices serving the elevator operation. Safety relays are connected to the end of the series connection, which relays generate signals for an elevator controller according to the switching state of the switches. The supply voltage is set such that the voltage is constant across the relays. Since there is an upper limit value to the supply voltage available from the voltage source, the supply voltage is monitored and an error notification is generated when an upper limit value is reached. In order to permit high levels of availability of the elevator system, at least one further parameter of a curve of the supply voltage is determined and evaluated.

  • Publication number: 20180309347
Abstract: A drive engine arrangement for an elevator system includes a drive engine for driving suspension traction media for displacing an elevator car, a fan for generating a fluid flow for cooling the drive engine and a fluid flow sensor. The fluid flow sensor senses the fluid flow generated by the fan. Accordingly, using the fluid flow sensor, it can be determined whether or not the fan is currently operating. By e.g. comparing the fan's behavior with previous operation patterns and/or by additionally measuring a temperature of the drive engine with a temperature sensor, it can be monitored whether the fan is operating correctly or whether e.g. cooling requirements may be compromised due to a malfunction of the fan. Such monitoring can be performed remotely and/or automatically.

  • Publication number: 20180215588
Abstract: A mounting device for performing an assembly process in an elevator shaft of an elevator system includes a support component and a mechatronic assembly component. The support component moves within the elevator shaft. The assembly component is retained on the support component and carries out a mounting step in an at least partially automatic manner during the assembly process. The support component includes a fastening part that secures the support component and/or the assembly component in a direction extending transversely to the vertical, i.e. for example in a horizontal or lateral direction, within the elevator shaft.

  • Patent number: 9169104
Abstract: In this elevator system, a traveling body has arranged upon it a safety gear for braking and holding the traveling body tight on the guiderail, or on a braking rail. The safety gear is connected to a device for actuating the safety gear, which can also actuate the safety gear. The device for actuating the safety gear contains a coupler body, which can be pressed against the elevator hoistway, possibly against the guiderail or braking rail, wherein actuation of the safety gear is effected by a relative movement between the pressed-on coupler body and the safety gear. For this purpose, the coupler body can contain a curved coupler surface, which, in case of need, is brought into engagement with the elevator hoistway, or with the guiderail or braking rail.
