Abstract: A method and a device are for displaying images. A chain of a determined number of images is provided in a housing. Images are displayed by being positioned in a display area. Images are displayed in a determined number of steps corresponding with the number of images. The control device switches the drive device on and off for the purpose of positioning and displaying one of the images. The method and device include calculation of the steps with a parameter determined by the movement of the chain from a position close to a start to a position close to an end of the chain.
