Abstract: A heating wire support meshing and a method of constructing a heated surface, particularly a floor surface therewith, is described. The heating wire support meshing comprises one or more mats formed by transversely spaced parallel rows of wire support bridge elements interconnected together at their crossings. The bridge elements have electric heating wire support slots to receive and guide one or more electric heating wires along one or more desired paths. Bottom support formations extend along a bottom planar surface of the mat. Top support formations lie in a top planar surface of the mat. The wire support slots are adapted to support the one or more electric heating wires spaced below the top support formations. The support meshing also acts as a reinforcement of a sub floor on which the support meshing is installed.

In one embodiment, the invention is to a fluid-containing pouch, comprising first and second opposing sheets, and a fluid (e.g., a calibrant fluid, a reactant fluid or a wash fluid) disposed between the first and second opposing sheets. The first sheet and the second sheet have a substantially liquid and gas impermeable perimeter seal. The sheets may be sealed, for example, by one or more of heat crimping, pressure crimping, heat and pressure crimping, ultrasonic welding, metal-to-metal welding or laser welding. Fluid-containing pouches sealed according to the disclosed methods and apparatuses show substantially improvement in terms of reduced gas exchange, notably CO2 pressurization levels.

Abstract: The invention relates to oral medicaments having a modified release of proton pump inhibitors (PPI's) that are, in particular, useful in preventing and treating gastrointestinal disorders. The aim of the invention is to provide a novel oral medicament based on PPI's ideally having all or some of the following characteristics: a) quickly providing relief to the patient by increasing the gastric pH after oral administration of the medicament; b) accelerating the recovery of patients while maintaining this increase in the gastric pH for as long as possible after oral administration of the medicament and, in particular, during the night; c) improving the observance of the treatment and the comfort of the patient by taking the medicament once daily.

Abstract: An exemplary locating mechanism for locating a turbine bearing in a bore of a housing includes a conical pin having a pin axis where the conical pin includes a conical wall portion and a pin portion to locate a turbine bearing; a ball; and a socket disposed in a housing and extending between an opening of the housing and a bore of the housing, the socket having a socket axis where the socket includes a cylindrical surface and a conical surface. According to such a mechanism, disposition of the conical pin in the socket seats the conical pin along the socket axis and against the conical surface and disposition of the ball in the socket seats the ball along the socket axis and against the cylindrical surface. Accordingly, alignment of the ball with respect to the conical pin allows for transmission of force from the ball to the conical pin along the pin axis.
