    Abstract: A method is provided for detecting obstructions in a gas network with sensors, which determine the physical parameters of the gas. The gas network includes controllable throttle valves and with state sensors, which can register the status of throttle valves. The method includes: a training phase in which a mathematical model is established between the measurements of sensors in which one or a plurality of adjustable throttle valves are controlled to generate obstructions; and an operational phase in which the mathematical model established between the measurements of the first and second groups are used to detect obstructions in the gas network. The operational phase includes: calculating the reading of the first and second groups of sensors using the mathematical model; determining the difference between the calculated and read values; and determining the existence of an obstruction on the basis of the aforementioned difference.

    Abstract: The correct clusters of operating system (OS) components to package for hydration to client devices is learned through analyzing telemetry data of numerous end devices. The telemetry data captures snapshots of the OS components that were used or loaded by the end devices during runs of different applications. An OS component service mines this telemetry data and compares the frequency in which pairs of OS components are used by the end devices together during the different applications runs. Using on these frequencies, the OS components are filtered in a relationship graph and an clustering algorithm is applied to determine whether the OS components are interdependent (meaning used together) or independent (meaning not used together). Interdependent OS components are packaged together into a hydration package and may be transmitted to client computing devices requesting any of their constituent OS components.

In an embodiment, a user equipment (UE) receives a discovery signal comprising a timing reference, and determines a transmitter of the discovery signal. In accordance with the determination of the transmitter of the discovery signal, the UE performs one of synchronizing to the timing reference in the discovery signal and transmitting a second discovery signal. The UE performs the synchronizing to the timing reference if the transmitter of the discovery is a cellular network. Alternatively, the UE transmits the second discovery signal upon determining that the transmitter of the discovery signal is a second UE that is out of coverage of a cellular network.
