Abstract: Systems, devices and methods of use adapted for treatment of respiratory disease or sleep disordered breathing include a patient interface (10) adapted to be secured to and sealed against a portion of a patient's face, in use. A flow generator is adapted to be connected to the patient interface and to be secured by a portion of the patient's body. The flow generator includes a blower (50) adapted to provide pressurised breathable gas to a patient through the patient interface. The blower is adapted to be at least partially vibrationally isolated from the patient's body by at least one dampening system (49) or device. The dampening device or system is adapted to reduce the amount of transmitted vibration received by the patient. A PAP system includes a patient interface including sealing arrangement (30) adapted to form a seal with the patient's nose and/or mouth and headgear (40) to support the sealing arrangement in position on the patient's head.

Abstract: A breathing assistance device includes a gas regulating valve (1300). The gas regulating valve is operated by a linear actuator (1330). The linear actuator may include a movable member that moves an obstruction member between an open position and a closed position. The linear actuator is isolated from a gas flow path through the valve.

Abstract: The invention relates to a gas supply unit (1) for supplying pressurised gas to a patient (8), wherein it comprises: —A pneumatic housing (10) for supplying a flow of gas to the patient (P), • A control housing (20) for controlling the flow of gas to be supplied to the patient (P), and A power supply housing (30) for supplying power to the unit (1), wherein the three housings (10,20,30) are distinct from one another and are designed for being removably coupled together to form a single unit (1). It further relates to a respiratory System for supplying a patient (P) with pressurised gas, the System comprising such a gas supply unit (1).

Abstract: The invention relates to a gas regulating valve (1) for a respiratory system comprising: —a main path between an inlet (2) and an outlet (3), and—an evacuation path between the outlet (3) and an evacuation orifice (4), characterised in that: —the main path is provided with at least a non-return valve for preventing gas to circulate from the outlet (3) to the inlet (2), and—the evacuation path is provided with an obstructing membrane (10) arranged and designed for being deformed by gas from the inlet (2) to partially or fully obstruct the evacuation path. The invention also relates to a mask integrating such gas regulating valve, and to a respiratory system also comprising such gas regulating valve.
