Abstract: A fencer chest protector is provided which includes comprising a rigid chest plate, the rigid chest plate having a top side, a bottom side, and a pair of lateral sides, a top left opening and a top right opening formed at the top side, and a lateral opening at each of the lateral sides; and a removable harness includes a pair of shoulder straps, each shoulder strap having a distal end which is adjustably connectable to, and removable from, a corresponding one of the top left and top right openings via a top connector, the removable harness further including a back strap having a first distal end which is adjustably connectable to, and selectively removable from, one of the lateral openings via a lateral connector, and having second distal end which is adjustably connectable to, and selectively removable from, the other one of the lateral openings via a lateral connector. One, some, or all of the central connector, lateral connectors, and top connectors may be comprised of fabric hook and loop fasteners.

Abstract: A portable fencing track that is readily assembled and disassembled at different venues includes a series of modular panels disposed adjacent to one another and interconnected to form an elongated central fencing floor. A piste or strip of electrically conductive material is placed and positioned with respect to the elongated central floor, and a perimeter floor is arranged so as to surround the central floor and the piste or strip. A threshold, preferably adjoining each of the modular panels located adjacent to the perimeter flooring, has lateral and end sections overlying adjacent portions of the strip and the perimeter floor, and at least one of the threshold sections defines a channel to receive wiring. Support elements are mounted to each of the floor panels and the perimeter floor to resiliently support the floor panels and the perimeter floor on a base surface and minimize damage over time to the ankles or hips of fencers. A process of assembling the track is also discussed.

Abstract: System, method, signal, operating model, and computer program for conducting a meeting over an electronic network. The method comprises steps of providing the eligible participants with a notice of the upcoming meeting at an address to which they have consented to receiving such notices. The method further comprises secure communications during the meeting between the several eligible participants attending such meeting. Moreover, the method of the meeting over an electronic network of the present invention provides for secure voting by the several eligible participants attending the meeting in accordance with their respective voting rights.
