  • Publication number: 20220265286
Abstract: A surgical guide device can be attached to a patient's bone for assisting an open wedge osteotomy. This device includes two parts which are joined together by way of removable securing unit, namely: a proximal part, including a lower border defining at least one portion of the upper edge of a guide window, and a distal part having an upper edge defining at least one portion of the lower edge of the guide window. The proximal and distal parts are each provided with a plurality of through holes adapted for receiving members temporarily implantable in the bone and/or adapted to guide a drilling of holes in the bone. The arrangement of the through holes of the surgical guide device advantageously takes into account the planned open wedge osteotomy and anticipates the final position of the screw locations of the reported osteosynthesis plate for freezing the two bone fragments.
