  • Patent number: 11318998
Abstract: A rotating mudguard assembly having fixed and rotating parts includes a locking mechanism to limit the relative movement between the fixed and rotating parts of the assembly. The locking mechanism has a locking pin which can selectively engage with a locking plate, the pin and the plate on respective parts of the rotating mudguard assembly. The locking mechanism may be an integral part of the assembly, or the locking mechanism may be a kit of parts for installation on or retrofitting to an assembly.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 12, 2018
Date of Patent: May 3, 2022
    Assignee: AGCO International GmbH
Inventors: Valentin Hamel, Philippe Boittin, Johnny Dhordain, Francois Quoniam

  • Patent number: 10462954
Abstract: An adjustable width quick hitch assembly for an agricultural vehicle. The quick hitch assembly is provided with spacer elements which can be incorporated into the assembly as required, where the selection and positioning of the spacer elements results in an assembled quick hitch having various hitch widths.

  • Publication number: 20180084706
Abstract: A hitch adaptor for an agricultural tractor that can be mounted to a tractor rear linkage, for subsequent connection to an implement for mounting to the tractor. The hitch adaptor has two frame elements which are vertically moveable relative to each other, so that a mounted implement can be vertically displaced without movement of the tractor rear linkage, and maintain the vertical alignment of the implement.

  • Patent number: 8998240
Abstract: A rear hitch assembly (10) for an agricultural tractor is provided. The assembly comprises a drawbar carrier element (20) mounted to the underside of a chassis (13) by a first connection which permits fore and aft movement of the carrier element relative to the chassis. A second connection includes a load sensor (30) which senses horizontal load placed upon the carrier element. Implement connector elements such as drawbars (22) and connector plates (15) are attached to the carrier in a fixed positional relationship. The horizontal load is isolated from the vertical load and measured by the load sensor to provide load information which can be utilised by brake systems for example.

  • Patent number: 8915789
Abstract: A shaft shielding assembly (26) comprising first and second telescopic sleeve members (31, 32) is provided. The sleeve members are each disposed around, and shield a portion of a rotatable shaft (22). Mutually cooperating guide means, such as an array of grooves and ridges (33, 34), are provided on the sleeve members and which forcibly reduce longitudinal overlap therebetween when rotated with respect to one another so as to extend the shielded region of the shaft.

  • Publication number: 20130154235
Abstract: A tractor rear hitch (10) comprising a drawbar (24) and a drawbar support frame (26) is provided. The drawbar is secured to the support frame by a pin (30) which is inserted through respective holes in the support frame and the drawbar. A drawbar release member (40) comprises a lever (42) which is pivotally mounted to the support frame. The drawbar release member is pivotally connected at a forward end (40a) to the pin so as to lift the pin, and thus release the drawbar, when a rear end of the lever is forced downward. A pedal (50) is mounted to the rear end of the lever which allows an operator to force the lever downwards using their foot. The provision of a pedal-operated release mechanism delivers a significant ergonomic advantage in that the operator no longer need apply the pin lifting force with their hands close to the ground.
