Abstract: A model and implementation process of a conversational rational agent as a kernel of a dialogue system and/or as an element (agent) of a multiagent system including definition of a conceptual architecture of a conversational rational agent; formal specification of the different components of this architecture and their combination permitting a formal model to be obtained; definition of the software architecture implementing the formal architecture; and definition of implementation mechanisms of the formal specifications, the rational agent being suited both to converse with another agent or with a user of the system through any communication medium.

Abstract: The invention especially concerns a management process of voice production activity of a person-machine interaction system with voice component, this process comprising operations consisting of exercising the voice production activity of the system, capturing external acoustic activity originating from an agent external to the system, and analyzing the semantic contents of any statement optionally included in the external acoustic activity. The process of the invention in addition comprises a detection operation consisting of detecting external acoustic activity during a period of voice production activity of the system, and a decision process consisting especially of interrupting the voice production activity of the system in the case where the time elapsed since the start of the external acoustic activity exceeds a first predetermined limited duration (P1) and/or in the case where the duration of the external acoustic activity exceeds a second predetermined limited duration (P2).

Abstract: A system generates rules for the correction of a concept sequence, a concept sequence coming from a text statement. A module determines from first text statements, a set of first concept sequences liable to be corrected and from second text statements, a set of second concept sequences deemed to be valid. A comparator compares the two sets of concept sequences thereby selecting first concept sequences different from second concept sequences. A generator analyzes the selected first concept sequences and estimates at least one characteristic for each first concept sequence analyzed. The generator generates at least one concept sequence correction rule as a function of said at least one estimated characteristic.

Abstract: A rational agent includes interpretation means to transform events translating a communication activity of an external agent into incoming formal records, a rational unit producing outgoing formal records as a function of the incoming formal records and a behavioral model of the rational agent, and outgoing events generation means transforming outgoing formal records into outgoing events materializing a communication activity of the rational agent with the external agent. The interpretation means comprise several interpretation modules, each of which is dedicated to a mode specific to it, and the rational agent also comprises an inputs and outputs management layer provided with a multimodal fusion module that takes account of all incoming events, redirects their interpretation to the different interpretation modules concerned, correlates incoming formal records and submits the incoming formal communication records thus correlated to the rational unit.
