  • Patent number: 8273708
Abstract: The invention concerns compositions and methods for treating and/or preventing ocular pathologies. The invention also concerns compositions and methods enabling the regulation of paracellular permeability of the ocular epithelium. The compositions and methods of the invention are based in particular on the use of agents or conditions modulating the opening of tight junctions of the ocular epithelium. The invention can be used for preventive or curative treatment of various pathologies, such as pathologies of the ocular surface in mammals, particularly in human beings.

  • Patent number: 7441660
Abstract: The present invention relates to a packaging and display box (100) for an osteosynthesis kit (10) comprising at least one plate (12) and at least one osteosynthesis screw (14). According to the invention, the box comprises at least a lid portion (120) and a bottom portion (110) defining a storage space (130), said lid portion (120) being made to be movable relative to said bottom portion by functional means (160). The box further comprises closure means (170). The box further comprises housing means (140) for housing said osteosynthesis kit (10) and suitable for being retained in said storage space (130), the housing means comprising at least one insert (142, 144) and being provided with at least one cavity (142) for receiving at least one plate (12) and at least one cell (144a) for receiving at least one screw (14).

  • Publication number: 20060243616
Abstract: The package (100) of the invention is for individually presenting at least one screw (110) comprising a shank and a head. In characteristic manner, the package (100) comprises a tube (102) suitable for being held in the hand and presenting a first end and a second end, said tube (102) being provided with at least one housing (106) for receiving said screw (110) in unitary manner, said housing (106) presenting an opening into said first end, and closure means (116) closing said housing (106) in sealed manner and suitable for being opened, said housing (106) extending in a longitudinal direction, said second end serving as a stand suitable for pressing against a substantially horizontal plane, in particular in order to give access to the screw (110) situated in said housing (106) via said opening when said closure means (116) are open, with said stand extending perpendicularly to said longitudinal direction.

  • Patent number: 5735854
Abstract: Screwing device which incorporates a screw charger. The device comprises a tube which encloses axially aligned screws and which is capable of being made integral with a maneuvering shaft. The tube comprises, at its free end, rings for blocking the head of a screw and allowing only the threaded part of the screw to protrude. The screw is brought into this position with the aid of an axial thrust shaft which can be maneuvered by the user. For rotationally blocking the screw in the screwing position, the tube comprises at least two longitudinal slots which confer on the free end a certain transverse elasticity permitting a screw to be brought into the screwing position, and ensure that the screw is not driven in rotation and is released when the limit torque is reached.
