  • Patent number: 7898326
Abstract: A method for amplifying radiocommunication signals via a string of amplifiers associated with a gain controller receiving an amplification setpoint of constant value, in order to produce an amplification of constant gain or of variable value, in order to produce an amplification with constant amplified power with the aid of a first regulator that is able to deliver this variable value setpoint based on a measurement of the amplified power. So that, in constant gain amplification mode, a setpoint transmitted by the first regulator is held at a value close to the setpoint of constant value.

  • Publication number: 20090219097
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for amplifying radiocommunication signals via a string (401) of amplifiers (412) associated with a gain controller (413) receiving an amplification setpoint (Vatt) of constant value (Vfgm), in order to produce an amplification of constant gain (FGM) or of variable value (Valc), in order to produce an amplification (ALC) with constant amplified power (Pout) with the aid of a first regulator (406) that is able to deliver this variable value setpoint (Valc) based on a measurement of the amplified power (Pout). According to the invention, such a method is characterized in that, in constant gain amplification mode (FGM), a setpoint transmitted by the first regulator (406) is held at a value close to the setpoint (Vfgm).

  • Patent number: 5915401
Abstract: A process for automatically controlling a hydraulic servovalve with a hydraulic slide valve displaced by a rotary actuator. The process includes a first loop for automatically controlling the delivery as a function of the measurement of the angular position of the rotary actuator and a second automatic control loop with variable control as a function of the pressure measurement. The first automatic control loop is a proportional action loop whose increase is constant for the absolute values of the pressure deviation which are less than at least a threshold value and then varies in an increasing manner for absolute values of the pressure deviation which are greater than the same threshold.

  • Patent number: 5644209
Abstract: A method and device for monitoring and balancing individual batteries in a pack. The terminals of each battery, which are connected in series, is connected to an electronic monitoring and balancing device. Each of these electronic devices are ballasted for tapping off and dissipating part of the current of the corresponding battery if the characteristics of the battery are out of balance with respect to the others.

  • Patent number: 5608325
Abstract: The method of recalibrating an energy management processor of a battery of accumulators consists, at the end of a defined period of time, in initiating a process of recalibration of evaluation of the quantity of electrical energy contained in the battery, in completely recharging the battery, in detecting the end of the complete recharge of the battery, in performing a partial discharge of the battery, in measuring the quantity of electricity extracted during this discharge, in leaving the battery to rest for a defined time, in totally discharging the battery at a low current while measuring the quantity of electricity thus extracted from the battery, in adding the said two quantities of electricity measured in order to obtain the value of the maximum capacity of the battery at the moment of the recalibration.

  • Patent number: 5587660
Abstract: A process is disclosed for evaluating the remaining charge in an accumulator battery by determining the residual charge at the start of discharge, adding up the quantities of energy extracted as and when the battery is used, determining the quantities of charge which are not restorable instantaneously because of a high discharge rate, charge which is restorable by relaxation of the battery and charge which is not restorable under the influence of temperature.

  • Patent number: 5409302
Abstract: A method and device, using fuzzy logic, to control the value of a braking torque of a wheel of a vehicle applied to a track, the input variables being the coefficient of slippage of the wheel on the track, the first derivative of this coefficient with respect to time, the derivative of the braking torque with respect to the slippage and the value of the braking torque, the output variable being an algebraic increase of the braking torque. Application to wheeled vehicles.
