  • Patent number: 9726002
Abstract: A water treatment method includes: withdrawing water from the environment; filtering the withdrawn water in a membrane filtration unit; extracting a production flow from an underground formation containing hydrocarbons; separating and collecting production water from the production flow; filtering the production flow in the membrane filtration unit; collecting a treated water flow from the membrane filtration unit. An installation adapted for applying this method is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20160040522
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for extracting hydrocarbons. The steps involve extracting a process flow from an underground formation, separating this flow into at least one hydrocarbon-containing fraction and one aqueous fraction referred to as the produced water, and reinjcting an injection water into the underground formation. The injection water intended to be introduced into the underground formation is produced partly in a direct-osmosis unit from produced water and partly in a nanofiltration and/or reverse-osmosis unit. The invention also relates to a process for extracting hydrocarbons throughout the exploitation life of the underground hydrocarbon reservoir, and to an injection-water production device especially designed for implementing this process.

  • Patent number: 8950590
Abstract: The invention relates to a separator of fluid medium components, said separator including, along one axis, a movable assembly that is rotatable around the axis. Said separator moreover includes an output device. The movable assembly includes a cylindrical separation chamber having an inner wall. The output device includes a second outlet and a first outlet that is farther than the second outlet from the axis. The output device includes a third outlet that is farther than the first outlet from the axis and is intended for extracting a third fluid component comprising solid particles. Said third outlet includes an edge that is near an inner wall of the separation chamber.
