  • Patent number: 10288362
Abstract: A manifold for a heat exchanger for a motor vehicle that includes a tubular wall and at least one separating partition partitioning the manifold. The tubular wall may have at least one slot formed over a portion of the tubular wall's cross section and may allow for the insertion of said separating partition. The separating partition may include an internal part inserted into the tubular wall, and the internal part may have a periphery with a first portion and a second portion situated facing the tubular wall. The second portion may be adjacent to at least one deformation of the tubular wall, such that an internal cross section of the tubular wall corresponds to the perimeter of the partition along the second portion.

  • Patent number: 10144266
Abstract: A tube (13) has a container of phase change material M for a heat exchange bundle (3) of a heat exchanger (1) of an air conditioning system of a passenger compartment of a vehicle. The tube (13) includes a first plate (15) configured to form a first outer surface (17) of the tube (13), a second plate (19) configured to be sealingly assembled with the first plate (15) and to form a second outer surface (21) opposite the first outer surface (17), and an intermediate plate (23) configured to be sealingly assembled with the first and second plates (15, 19), between the latter, and to define on either sides thereof at least one channel (9) for the flow of a coolant F into the bundle (3) and at least one recess (25) for the phase change material M. The invention also relates to a heat exchange bundle and to a method for assembling a heat exchanger including the tube (13).

  • Patent number: 9752837
Abstract: The invention relates to a manifold (10) for a heat exchanger (1), comprising a cover (31), an intermediary plate (41), and a collector plate (51), said manifold (10) being intended to collect and distribute a fluid. According to the invention, the intermediary plate (41) defines a first fluid chamber (11) with the cover (31) and a second fluid chamber (12) with the collector plate (51), said second chamber being independent of the first (11). The invention also relates to a heat exchanger (1) comprising such a manifold (10) and to a method for producing such a manifold (10).

  • Publication number: 20160268654
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for controlling the temperature of a motor vehicle battery module, comprising a beat exchanger (3) and a bundle of heat pipes (5) having at least one surface for making thermal contact with a battery of the motor vehicle and moreover with the heat exchanger (3). Said heat exchanger comprises at least one inner wall, making contact with said heat pipe surface, and at least one outer wall defining, with said inner wall, a space wherein a heat-transport fluid may flow. Said heat exchanger also comprises at least one input nozzle (20) and at least one output nozzle (21) for said fluid to flow therethrough. Said temperature control device is characterized in that said inner and outer walls are made of an aluminum or aluminum alloy sheet by a cold-forming operation and are assembled to one another by crimping, such as to form said fluid flow space.
