Abstract: The invention relates to a cooking element which is intended for a steam cooker. The inventive element consist of a tubular lateral wall (1) and a removable perforated base (2), said tubular lateral wass (1) comprising an inner shoulder (10) which is designed to receive the perforated base (2). According to the invention, the perforated base (2) comprises an openwork plate (3) which is obtained by means of coated or non-coated metal sheet deformation.
