  • Publication number: 20240078375
Abstract: An electronic device with a display: concurrently displays a first electronic document and a second electronic document, the first electronic document including a displayed content object; detects a first user input that starts on the content object; in response to a determination that the first user input corresponds to a first command, creates and displays a copy of the content object in the second electronic document; and, in response to a determination that the first user input corresponds to a second command, distinct from the first command: selects the content object; displays an animation of the content object separating from the first electronic document; and initiates display of a plurality of icons proximate to the separated content object, the plurality of icons including at least one icon to initiate display of a user interface for sending the content object to one or more other users.

  • Patent number: 5578191
Abstract: The present invention concerns a process for the electrolytic extraction of the tin found a quantity of less than 1 g/l and in a chelated form in organic solutions. The process consists of using an electrolysis unit comprising an anode compartment and cathode compartment separated by a physical barrier, introducing the organic solution into the cathode compartment and carrying out the electrolysis in galvanostatic or potentiostatic mode. This process can be applied to the recycling of photographic effluents containing tin, in particular to the processing of reversal products.

  • Patent number: 5360529
Abstract: A half-cell reference electrode comprises an electrode member in electrochemical contact with at least one gelled electrolyte solution which itself is contactable with the liquid to be tested wherein the gelling agent comprises a polymer containing acrylamide units substituted with a group or groups which lower the polymer's tendency to hydrolyse compared to polyacrylamide while providing a polymer that can form a gelled solution in 2.6M sodium/potassium nitrate solution (2.21M potassium nitrate and 0.39M sodium nitrate) comprising at least 75% (w/w) sodium/potassium nitrate solution.

  • Patent number: 5102528
Abstract: The invention relates to an Ag.sub.2 S crystalline membrane, a process for its manufacture, and a process for its use in detecting silver ions or halide ions. The membrane according to the invention comprises silver sulfide doped with an ion capable to form either with Ag.sup.+ or with S.sup.2- a salt much more insoluble than the species in solution. Preferably the membrane further contains an inert hydrophobic compound. The membrane is prepared by coprecipitating silver sulfide with the doping agent, by homogenizing the coprecipitate with the hydrophobic compound and by pressing. The membrane can be used in an electrode to detect silver or halide ions in solution.
