Abstract: Low doses of fluralaner or another isoxazoline derivative are administered to an animal such as a pet, typically a dog or a cat, preferentially by administration of a repeated dose, at regular intervals or at varying intervals, each dose being of the same or different amount, which leads to efficacy against arthropods, especially fleas and ticks. Various regimens, galenic forms, posologies, therapeutic indications, combinations with other active or synergistic ingredients, and smart devices or methods for release of doses to the animal can be provided, alone or in combinations.

Abstract: A method of treating age related behavorial problems in dogs is disclosed. The method involves administering adrafinil or a metabolite thereof to an animal in need of such treatment.
