Abstract: The present invention discloses an accessory for making and coupling a flow path between a package and a tester. The accessory is configured to automatically make a hole onto a package. The accessory is further configured to form a hole without utilizing a hollow needle or a septum. The accessory is further configured to couple the hole of the package to the tester, which could be a leakage tester or a gas tester, or a tester that performs both gas detection test and leakage test. The accessory is further configured to seal a flow path between the hole and the tester from an external environment. The accessory is further configured to make and couple the flow path between the package and the tester either manually or automatically.

  • Patent number: 9621042
Abstract: The invention relates to switch mode power supply modules and items of equipment powered by these modules. The power supply module comprises circuits for cyclically interrupting the switching operation, during a so-called switching operation interruption phase, if the load current of the module is less than a current threshold value and sustaining the switching operation, during a so-called switching operation phase, if the load current is greater than the load current threshold value and circuits for ending the switching operation interruption phase if the power supply voltage of the item of equipment is greater than a voltage threshold value. The item of equipment powered by the module comprises a capacitive element able to store energy from the module during the switching operation phase and to release the energy stored between the output terminals of the power supply module when it receives an activation signal.

  • Publication number: 20150006928
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and a method for sequentially starting USB peripherals in order to optimise the supply of electrical power. Using current profiles corresponding to the start-up of peripherals, the connected peripherals are started one after the other. The delay between each start-up corresponds to the time necessary for the current consumption stabilisation of the peripheral being started. The profiles are stored by the device. During the start-up, the invention identifies the connected peripheral and searches for its start-up profile in the stored profiles, in order to determine the start-up delay to apply to the next peripheral.

  • Patent number: 8499332
Abstract: An electronic card is disclosed including circuits of the protected zone include at least one control circuit. The electronic card further includes another zone defining a non-protected environment; the circuits of this zone do not need to comply with the distance constraint. The communication between the circuits of the protected zone and the non-protected environment is carried out by a communication circuit allowing or not allowing the electrical signals to pass. The passage of the electrical signals in the communication circuit is conditioned by an electrical control signal sent by the control circuit. Also disclosed is a method allowing the control circuit to be blocked if the electrical status of the signal controlling the passage of the signals does not correspond to the status imposed by the control circuit.

  • Patent number: 8401190
Abstract: A method for pairing a first element and a second element, wherein the first element and the second element form a first decoding system among a plurality of receiving decoding systems in a broadcasting network. Each receiving decoding system is adapted to descramble scrambled audiovisual information received over the broadcasting network. A first key unique in the broadcasting network is selected. A second key is determined according to the first key, such that a combination of the first key and the second key enables to decrypt broadcasted encrypted control data that is received to be decrypted by each receiving decoding system, the encrypted control data being identical for each receiving decoding system. The first key and the second key are assigned respectively to the first element and the second element.

  • Publication number: 20100017852
Abstract: To prevent being able to capture sensitive signals between electronic circuits placed on an electronic card, these circuits are arranged in a protected zone in such a manner so as not be distant from each other by more than a determined distance. The circuits of the protected zone comprise at least one control circuit. The electronic card further comprises another zone defining a non-protected environment; the circuits of this zone do not need to comply with the distance constraint. The communication between the circuits of the protected zone and the non-protected environment is carried out by means of a communication circuit allowing or not allowing the electrical signals to pass.
