Publication number: 20240355051Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for building a facial model of a three dimensional face from a two dimensional image. The method involves replacing any missing areas by at least one intermediate filler and obtaining a plurality of polynomials for the upper and lower boundaries of any of the replaced intermediate filler areas. The differentiable parameters and coefficients pertaining to the selected intermediate filler areas are then determined and an inversible rendering of the face is provided by modifying any intermediate filler(s) based on the obtained polynomials with details based on said differentiable parameters and coefficients.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 4, 2022Publication date: October 24, 2024Inventors: Junghyun Ahn, Louis Chevallier, Abdallah Dib, Cedric Thebault, Philippe Henri Gosselin

Publication number: 20240024292Abstract: Congenital aniridia is a rare and severe genetic panocular disease characterized by a complete or partial iris defect clinically detectable at birth. The most common form of aniridia occurring in around 90% cases is caused by PAX6 haploinsufficiency. Ataluren eye-drops aim to restore ocular surface PAX6 haploinsufficiency in Aniridia Related Keratopathy (ARK). However, they are currently no ophthalmic solution available forms. The objective of this study was to assess the physicochemical and microbiological stability of ataluren eye-drop 1% in preservative-free low-density polyethylene (LDPE) bottle with an innovative insert that maintains sterility after opening. Because ataluren is a strongly lipophilic compound, the formulation is complex and involves a strategy based on co-solvents in an aqueous phase or an oily formulation capable of totally dissolving the active ingredient.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 13, 2021Publication date: January 25, 2024Inventors: Salvatore CISTERNINO, Dominique BREMOND-GIGNAC, Joël SCHLATTER, Philippe-Henri SECRETAN

Patent number: 11566775Abstract: At least two lighting modules are disposed on a printed circuit board (PCB). Each of the lighting modules includes a plurality of light emitting diode (LED) chips disposed in a non-rectangular array. Lenses are provided over the lighting modules. Each lens has a convex outer surface, and a chamber with a planar or concave inner surface facing a corresponding lighting module and disposed to cover the LED set within the chamber. A light projecting device includes a plurality of LED sets and a plurality of lenses. An orientation part couples each lighting module to the PCB at a non-zero angle.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2021Date of Patent: January 31, 2023Assignee: TOP VICTORY INVESTMENTS LIMITEDInventors: Lieve Lea Andrea Lanoye, Nicolas Philippe Henry Babled, Chih-Feng Lin, Wen-Sheng Lu, Chia-Chih Lin, Dieter Marcel Freddy Verlinde

Publication number: 20220404528Abstract: The invention provides an anti-glare coating of wide bandgap nanostructured oxide material so as to reduce the dazzling reflections of sunlight and avoid light pollution generated by spacecraft. The coating provides selective electrodeposition of a nanostructured wide bandgap oxide material on the metal contact grid on the surface of a solar panel of a spacecraft or a satellite in which the metal contact grid constitutes the cathode, and the resulting nanostructures have a width and spacing less than the wavelength ‘?’ of the incident light or equal to ‘?/n’ with ? located between 180 nm and 8?m, and ‘n’ being the refractive index of the nanostructured material so that for angles of incidence between 0.01 and 90 degrees less than 0.5% of light is reflected.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 15, 2022Publication date: December 22, 2022Inventors: David ROGERS, Philippe Henri BOVE, Ferechteh HOSSEINI TEHERANI, Vinod Eric SANDANA

Patent number: 11393680Abstract: The inventive method provides for a method of p-type doping of Ga2O3 without adding impurity elements. Embodiments allow for significant simplification relative to extrinsic impurity element doping, and thus offers a reduced fabrication cost while being more temperature resistant since the defect dopants require higher temperatures to alter their impact. Certain methods disclosed provide for p-type gallium oxide formation via intrinsic defect doping, without requiring the addition of impurity elements which provide significant simplification relative to the existing state of the art approaches providing more temperature and radiation resistance, while offering a reduced fabrication cost.Type: GrantFiled: April 17, 2020Date of Patent: July 19, 2022Inventors: Ferechteh Hosseini Teherani, Philippe Henri Bove, David Rogers, Vinod Eric Sandana
