  • Publication number: 20240025849
Abstract: The invention relates to compounds useful as inhibitors of NO production, especially inhibitors of the inducible NO synthase iNOS expressed by microglia and macrophages. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising these compounds and to therapeutic uses of these compounds, especially in the prophylaxis or treatment of conditions characterized by excess NO production, such as ischemic stroke and retinopathies.

  • Patent number: 10335348
Abstract: A filling needle can be used in a tube set for transferring a flowable medium, in particular a pharmaceutical product. The filling needle has a needle end for temporary insertion in a filling vessel. Furthermore, the filling needle has a connector end for connecting the filling needle to a filling vessel, via which the medium can be supplied to the filling needle. An inner tube lumen of the filling needle is defined by an inner tube layer made of silicone. The result is a filling needle that can be manufactured inexpensively.

  • Publication number: 20170136736
Abstract: A multi-component plastic body designed as a multi-layered tube has at least one silicone component and at least one further polymer component made of a further nonpolar polymer. A bonding agent between the silicone component and the further polymer component has bonding bodies which mechanically bond the two components to one another. For the production of such a multi-component plastic body, first a base component is produced. The bonding agent is applied thereto, and subsequently a cover component is applied to the base component, such that the bonding agent comes to lie between the silicone component and the further polymer component. The result is a multi-component plastic body having a secure bond between the at least one silicone component and the at least one further polymer component.

  • Publication number: 20140249935
Abstract: An advertising system is disclosed for connecting consumers with merchant websites and interfaces that are associated with products displayed in an image. For each product in an image, a selectable region may be defined using a set of coordinates that identify the displayed product. In response to receiving an input from a user in the selectable region of the image that is associated with the product, the user may be forwarded to a web page associated with the product. The web page associated with the product may permit the user to purchase the product or disclose details relating to the product.

  • Publication number: 20130128915
Abstract: A temperature control element for a measuring device for controlling the temperature of a measurement sample, comprising first and second heating elements delivering thermal energy to the measurement sample, and control means for controlling the heating of the measurement sample, wherein the first and second heating elements heat the measurement sample until a limit temperature has been reached, and wherein thermal resistivity between the first and second heating elements is increased starting at the limit temperature, and the control means disconnects the contact between the first and second heating elements when the limit temperature is reached. A cooling element withdraws thermal energy, and the control means controls cooling of the measurement sample, wherein thermal energy is withdrawn from measurement sample by bringing the cooling element closer to the shut-off of the first heating element, and interrupting the contact between the cooling element and the shut-off of the first heating element.
