Patent number: 11484394Abstract: A two part modelling aid for connection to a dental implant component including a hollow base part and a hollow angled part, each including a tubular side wall extending between apical and coronal ends. The base part side wall includes an anti-rotation section including a non-circular symmetric cross-section in a plane perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the base part. The angled part side wall forms an apical portion that extends along a first axis and is sized and shaped to form a friction fit with the base part, and a coronal portion extending along a second axis non-coaxial to the first axis. When connected, a closed channel is formed extending from the base part to the angled part, and the first axis of the apical portion is coaxial to the longitudinal axis of the base part and the anti-rotation section is exposed on a base part surface.Type: GrantFiled: March 19, 2018Date of Patent: November 1, 2022Assignee: STRAUMANN HOLDING AGInventors: Christos Pappas, Philippe Kern, Isabell Wiestler, Boris Martin

Method for manufacturing a container body of a tube and container body manufactured by such a method
Patent number: 9662822Abstract: The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a container body (20) of a tube, the methods comprising the steps of imprinting a sheet material (10) on one of its surfaces, bending the imprinted sheet material into the shape of the container body (20) of the tube with the imprinted surface on the outside, sealing adjacent edges (15) of the bent imprinted sheet material, and coating the bent imprinted sheet material with a transparent plastics sheathing (17) by extrusion, wherein the material of the plastics sheathing (17) and/or the ink used for imprinting are chosen such that the plastics sheathing (17) does not adhere to the imprint (14), resulting in one or more ventilation areas (18) being formed between the imprinted sheet material and the plastics sheathing (17). The invention furthermore relates to a container body manufactured by such a method.Type: GrantFiled: September 13, 2012Date of Patent: May 30, 2017Assignee: Hoffmann Neopac AGInventors: Andreas Geiger, Philippe Kern -

Patent number: 8752722Abstract: The invention relates to a tip cap assembly for closing a distal opening of a receptacle like a syringe body or a tube in a sealed manner, and to a method for producing the tip cap. A cap assembly according to the invention comprises a frangible tip of a receptacle, preferably a pre-filled receptacle. An upper portion of the tip closes the receptacle respectively a lower tip portion comprising a passage as known from the state of the art. Hence, the receptacle is reliably sealed to prevent contamination or loss of the medication. Compared with the state of the art, a receptacle has a more effectively sealed tip. It is necessary to break the upper tip portion away in order to open the receptacle. A cap element protects the tip on one side. On the other side, unscrewing the cap breaks the upper portion away without hurting a person.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2008Date of Patent: June 17, 2014Assignee: Vifor (International) AGInventors: Peter Kuhn, Gallus Egli, Philippe Kern, Mario Schüpbach, Ludwig Daniel Weibel
