    Abstract: A method is provided for managing an optimal transmission power of a Wi-Fi access point. Electronic devices are connected to the Wi-Fi access point, and the Wi-Fi access point is able to transmit with a variable transmission power. The method is executed by the Wi-Fi access point and includes the steps of determining a minimum value of a quality indicator associated with a connection of an electronic device to the Wi-Fi access point. A minimum transmission power value of the access point is determined making it possible to obtain, for the electronic device connected to the Wi-Fi access point, a value of the quality indicator associated with the connection thereof to the Wi-Fi access point higher than the minimum value. The optimal transmission power of the Wi-Fi access point is configured as being equal to the minimum transmission power determined.
