  • Publication number: 20130072255
Abstract: An electronic entity for a mobile terminal including a subscriber identity card and power supply therefor. The electronic entity includes a near-field communication device, an antenna, and a wire-based interface with the mobile terminal to provide the power supply. A voltage converter supplies operating power to the near-field communication device via the wire-based interface which in turn supplies power to the subscriber identity card.

  • Publication number: 20130072258
Abstract: A shell for a mobile telephone able to comprise a subscriber identity card. The mobile telephone has, on the one hand, a front face exhibiting a user interface and, on the other hand, a rear face. The shell has an internal surface and an external surface. This shell has a suitable shape adapted for removably receiving the mobile telephone so that the rear face of the mobile telephone is held along the internal surface of the shell. The internal surface comprises: a first means adapted for holding a near-field communication device and an antenna associated therewith; and a second means adapted for guiding at least a portion of a wire-based interface intended to link the near-field communication device to the subscriber identity card.

  • Patent number: 6807410
Abstract: Electronic payment process and system for implementing such a process. Customer equipment is mobile equipment, for example of the GSM type. In addition to the customer (C) and the merchant (M), a gateway (P) participates in the transaction, authenticates the customer and the merchant and ensures that the goods item ordered will be duly paid for. Customer equipment may work with a bank payment card.

  • Publication number: 20040054560
Abstract: The invention proposes, firstly, a method of managing a proof of the reservation by a customer (C) of a product or a service, the method consisting in a reservation management unit (RMU) sending (300) a portable object (MP) of the customer (C) reservation data which is stored in a memory of the portable object (MP) to serve as proof of the reservation, and, secondly, a system for implementing the method.

  • Patent number: 5818297
Abstract: The demodulator is for processing a signal having a carrier modulated by (0, .pi.) phase shifts and sampled at a rate that is at least twice the frequency of the carrier co. It comprises, in cascade: a first multiplier for squaring successive samples e(t), a phase locked loop adjusted to the frequency of the carrier, thereby performing programmable digital filtering; a divider for dividing the frequency by two, reconstituting the carrier from the output of the phase locked loop; a second multiplier receiving the sampled input signal and the output signal from the divider and an output lowpass digital filter. A phase adjustment circuit is placed upstream of one of the inputs of the second multiplier.

  • Patent number: 5734333
Abstract: A system for remote information exchange between a portable object and a station and in which in order to minimize an undesirable profitless cluttering in the radio frequency environment of the system, the phase variation between the first and second alternating voltages (VEX and VEY), which is induced by the switchings of the electronic circuit of the portable object as a function of information to be transmitted to the station, enables the station-processing means (SPM) to deduce the information therefrom, and the elements of the electronic circuit and of the station are chosen and configured so that the phase variation induce by the inductive coupling is greater than a predetermined threshold.

  • Patent number: 5184001
Abstract: The station, in particular a terminal, comprises an oscillator (OS) having a feedback loop (1) and a station inductor element (L10) suitable for conferring a working frequency to the oscillator which varies relative to a rest frequency. The station also includes a station processor connected to the oscillator and capable of processing variations in the working frequency of the oscillator. The portable object, in particular a memory card, includes an electronic circuit which is switchable between an inactive state and an active state in which it sets up a resonant circuit tuned on a frequency which is distinct from the rest frequency while remaining suitable for being coupled inductively with the feedback loop (1) at the rest frequency. The portable object also includes an object processor capable of switching the electronic circuit as a function of the information to be transmitted to the station.
