Abstract: A modular seating system including a mounting surface having a plurality of attachment features formed therein and a plurality of chairs. Each chair of the plurality of chairs includes a base including a base body, an interior volume, two lateral openings formed in opposite lateral sides of the base body, the two lateral openings communicating with the interior volume, and a top opening communicating with the interior volume; a connector connected at least in part to a bottom side of the base body; and a seat portion connected to the base body and arranged: to provide a seating surface and to prevent access to the top opening when in the closed position, and to allow access to the top opening when in the open position, each attachment feature configured for receiving the connector of each chair of the plurality of chairs for selectively connecting each chair to the mounting surface.

Abstract: A seating assembly for a watercraft is provided. The watercraft has a deck including deck attachment features provided on an upper surface of the deck. The seating assembly includes: a padded mat for seating a user, the padded mat being configured to abut the upper surface of the deck, the padded mat having a mat attachment feature for selectively connecting the padded mat to the deck by engaging the mat attachment feature with one of the deck attachment features; and a backrest for supporting a back of the user, the backrest having a backrest attachment feature for selectively connecting the backrest to the deck by engaging the backrest attachment feature to an other one of the deck attachment features. The padded mat and the backrest are usable together to allow the user to sit on the padded mat and be supported by the backrest.

Abstract: There is provided a container, which can be made of plastic, be tamper-evident and/or reclosable, including a receptacle and a lid engageable together. The lid can include a lid lip superposable against a receptacle lip in a closed configuration of the container. The lid lip can include one or more tear line segments and an opening tab. The container is configurable into an open configuration by pulling the opening tab to tear the lid lip along the tear line segment(s) with an outer lip region of the lid lip remaining bonded to the receptacle lip in the open configuration. The container can also include catch assemblies formed in corners of the container, each one including a receptacle-engagement bulge protruding inwardly from a peripheral wall of the receptacle and a lid engagement bulge protruding outwardly in the at least two of the corners of the lid, the receptacle-engagement bulge releasably interlocking with a corresponding one of the lid-engagement bulges in the closed configuration.

Abstract: A hull for a personal watercraft includes a compression-molded hull body. A main portion of the hull body includes a thermoplastic material embedded with non-directional chopped glass fibers. The main portion extends along an entirety of the length and of the width of the hull body. Port and starboard portions of the hull body include the thermoplastic material embedded with directional glass fibers. The directional glass fibers include longitudinally-oriented glass fibers. A majority of the longitudinally-oriented glass fibers have a length at least ten times greater than a mean length of the chopped glass fibers. The port and starboard portions extend vertically from proximate an upper edge of the hull towards a keel, and longitudinally along at least 50% of the length of the hull body.

Abstract: A container with at least two compartments, at least one connecting section connecting two adjacent ones of the at least two compartments and extending along a connecting section axis and at least one strengthening structure in each one of the at least one connection section and extending between the at least two adjacent compartments. Each one of the at least one connecting section comprises a separation strip extending along the connecting section axis and defining a weakened section thereof along which the at least two adjacent compartments can be separated from one another. The at least one strengthening structure extends substantially perpendicular to the connecting section axis of the corresponding connecting section.

Abstract: A safety device securable on a roof with a fastener, comprising: an anchor bracket having a substantially L-shaped configuration, the anchor bracket including a safety line attachment portion having a substantially plate-shaped configuration and defining a safety line attachment aperture extending therethrough; and a roof attachment portion having a substantially plate-shaped configuration. The roof attachment portion defines a plurality of substantially elongated slots each extending inwardly from one of the roof attachment portion side edges for receiving the fastener therethrough when the fastener is secured to the roof. The slots are slanted so as to extend away from the roof attachment portion proximal end in a direction leading away from the one of the roof attachment portion side edges. A safety line is attached to the safety line attachment portion.

Abstract: A ventilated storage box includes a peripheral wall defining a storage space and having ventilation openings extending therethrough and a ventilation insert insertable in the storage space. The ventilation insert has walls defining at least one ventilation channel with at least one port in periphery of the ventilation insert. At least one of the at least one ventilation port is in register and in fluid communication with at least one of the ventilation openings of the peripheral wall when the ventilation insert is inserted in the storage box and defining therewith an unobstructed ventilation path in the storage space of the storage box.
