  • Publication number: 20250373667
Abstract: An example method for execution by a user computing apparatus communicatively coupled to a communication network to effect enrollment of a first target device with a security device management system comprises detecting that the first target device to be enrolled with the security device management system is connected to the communication network. In response to the detecting, the user computing apparatus may be caused to obtain a first enrollment token corresponding to the first target device. The first enrollment token may be usable by the user computing apparatus to enroll the first target device with the security management system. The first enrollment token may comprise data uniquely identifying the first target device. The user computing apparatus may be caused to cause transmission of the first enrollment token to a first remote system associated with the first target device to effect enrollment of the first target device with the security device management system.

  • Publication number: 20250286878
Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for enrolling a security device with a surveillance system. Secret information stored by the security device is accessed. A browser-based connection to the surveillance system is launched via the security device. The browser-based connection to the surveillance system is authenticated. After authenticating the browser-based connection, the secret information is provided to the surveillance system via the browser-based connection. The surveillance system is then made to enroll the security device.

  • Patent number: 12081825
Abstract: Producing a privacy-protected video clip in a video management system includes retrieving a selected video clip constituting at least a portion of a stored video stream; obtaining segments of the video clip which are spaced apart in time and have a total length equal to a defined time period; combining the obtained segments of the video clip to form a background training clip; and processing the background training clip, or the separate segments, to produce a background model. The video clip is processed to produce a privacy-protected video clip, such that, for each image the video clip, the processing includes performing background subtraction, using the background model, to define foreground regions, and obscuring the defined foreground regions.
