  • Publication number: 20240132304
Abstract: A vision-assisted robotized depalletizer receives at a pallet station a pallet loaded with products and outputs on a conveyor unitized products aligned in a desired orientation. Such depalletizers include a vision system having one or more image acquisition sensors that are positioned relative to the pallet station so as to have a field of view covering a top portion of the pallet. The sensors send to a controller one or more image of the top portion of the pallet that the controller uses along to determine the position of each product in the top portion of the pallet. The depalletizer further includes a robot equipped with a depalletizing tool that is coupled to the vision system controller for receiving information indicative of the position of each product from the top portion and uses that information to pick and position on the output conveyor each product from the top portion.

  • Patent number: 11930012
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method is provided for customization of a mobile communications device's data session retry mechanism in a wireless packet data service network. The mobile communication device requests activation of a data session with a node via the wireless network and receives a reject message via the wireless network in response to the request for activation of the data session, the reject message including a cause code. If the cause code corresponds to a no-retry behavior of the data session retry mechanism of the mobile communication device, the mobile communications device no longer requesting activation of a data session with the node.

  • Patent number: 11696116
Abstract: A method includes receiving a request to provision an embedded subscriber identity module (eSIM) profile to an eSIM-enabled device. The request includes a proxy eSIM identifier (EID) prefix. The eSIM profile is associated with a service provider of a mobile communication service a user of the device subscribes to. The method also includes determining whether the proxy EID prefix includes an address of a target discovery server the device is configured to connect to, and when the proxy EID prefix includes the address the method includes extracting the address of the target discovery server from the proxy EID prefix. Using the extracted address of the target discovery server, the method also includes registering a discovery event with the target discovery server indicating that the service provider has reserved the eSIM profile to the proxy EID or an actual EID assigned to the device.

  • Patent number: 11560872
Abstract: The telescopic hydrokinetic turbine system is a device meant for lifting the burden of manufacturing, installing, and maintaining hydrokinetic systems in the water. The device attempts to overcome the issues faced by present day hydrokinetic systems. To accomplish this, the device includes a light weight and easy to carry and install design, a telescopic pillar to align itself with the tide direction or even to leave the body of water for maintenance. Electrical parts are not submerged but instead remain onshore in a small cabin or housing. Further, by adding the use of multiple diffusers, the water flowing into the turbine is made smoother and the overload of water is able to be evacuated and swiped by the fins. The diffusers increase the blades working capacity while homogenizing the water flow and avoiding the phenomena of vibrations and cavitation, thereby increasing efficiency.

  • Patent number: 10924973
Abstract: In some implementations, a method in a user equipment (UE) for dynamically managing band capacity includes communicating with a first radio access network (RAN) on a first Radio Frequency (RF) channel and a second RAN on a second RF channel, where the first RAN and the second RAN are different networks. The UE receives an indication from the first RAN (or makes a determination) to handover to a third RF channel. The UE determines that the third RF channel conflicts with the second RF channel. The UE disables an RF band including the second RF channel with the second RAN and reports updated RF Band Capabilities to one or both RANs.
